I decided to play the Campaign again.

So I downloaded the game, I click on it and it opens the usual Battlelog page

I click on Play Campaign, It gets stuck Initializing and nothing happens

If I open the Details tab in Task Manager, it’s there

I looked up for solutions and tried them, none fixed it.

I'm okay with vehicles being able to kill stupid infantry players, dealing with vehicles need different strategies and you should expect to die a lot, all I'm saying is that vehicles should have more to worry about on the ground like AA guns and lock-ons and AA mines and should be forced to play more strategically rather than flying in, getting 50 kills, popping ecm and hiding behind a building and coming back for more

Maps with MAAs balanced it fairly well, the MAA makes air vehicles stay vigilant for it but if a heli can sneak up on it and destroy it, the heli can dominate the match for a good while which is a good reward for defeating the MAA

And of course if the MAA is too strong for whatever reason there are always jeep stuffs, tanks, LAVs, rocket launchers, yadada

Planes are really the only thing players don’t try to bring down

its always been an issue just your average players dont really care about what they are playing

the balance in battlefield games is completely horrible and it comes from battlefield aiding bad players and heavily underestimating how easily and how strong some things are when abused by good players

theres an operation mode in bf1 where your team has 4 tanks

4-5

and it isnt even a very large map

keep in mind bf1 tanks can be practically unkillable

Even in breakthrough/rush/frontlines, most current players play those modes simply to farm. Not to play.

You're going to have that problem in every game though, to one degree or another. Battlefield has room for competitive, new, and casual players. I think DICE's error is in catering too much to new players at the expense of the community thats been playing BF for many of its iterations.

It totally depends on the match. Some matches, I don't see a single flieger and can get massive kill streaks. Others, its like there are 5 guys staring at you just waiting for you to get in range

I haven't played on PC, but on console the most recent helicopter flight controls are super clunky. It used to be so clean, but they're catering to new players to have a lower skill floor for flying. Its dumb and hurts the rest of the community and gameplay

They changed the flight model a lot since then, on both helis and jets. Flight assist removed on most helis, slower roll speeds, more inertia and weight transfer
