Also bf2042 launched in 2021, its almost 4 years. Them not being able to deliver a good battlefield game is just insane, like battlefield labs is in its early stages, they are so slow. COD is so fast with their new games, too fast, but atleast they have a working company

Even if you are selected they already tested the gunplay/movement, TTK and destruction, most important aspects of the game are already tested by players who can't aim or move

Future tests will be whatever imo even if you are selected, unless you're a vehicle player, vehicle tests didn't happened yet afaik but I don't know anything besides what EA posted in blogs

idk why i was so far up but low kpm is the worst stat you could have, its the only stat that shows positioning, rotations, timing, aim, gadget use

and getting kills gets you map control, objectives and defends objectives

so the more kills you get the more you actually defend and help people to capture objectives

not that you cant like significally be important or of value by revives, heals, standing on objectives that good players cleared for you but thats something anyone can do and doesnt really require any form of skill, its a shooter game at the end of the day

Plus other stats are very easy to manipulate with safe playstyles. No individual stat is a good measurement and far too many people get caught up in numbers that don't necessarily tell the whole story. KPM is definitely important though.

I think the biggest issue when it comes to learning is people are too afraid to preserve their stats in an attempt to learn. People will play super passively or defensively and wonder why they won't learn how to play aggressively and take space because they're worried about taking a hit to their stats. Sometimes you gotta throw yourself into the mix and make some mistakes to review.

Well that and not having a goal in mind when it comes to learning. Passive learning is slow and only gets you so far.

I just had to run them over.. but another thing happened. During the campaign of Cambrai, towards the end the artillery came shooting down and hit my Bess (which I presume it should happen this way) and then there's supposed to be a cut scene, but it froze and I had to restart my checkpoint 🥲

you just look out for your teams tank or airplane kicking the bucket

it should be easier on maps with more tanks on average to get a tank because they respawn faster and obviously there is more of them

That's insane, f2000 is really fun, tbh bf4 is truly one of the greatest games ever made, there are some meta guns for sure, but many other guns can also get you to the top if you are good

The F2000 is one of those weapons that doesn't really fit any faction in the game. I hope they add the EDF in BF6 to remedy that - we need a Euro faction.

I think the anticheat is causing a problem with freezing on Battlefield 1 since it is the only game that is completely freezing my laptop. I tried running escape from tarkov (a more graphics intense game) and I had no problems with freezing or crashing. This all started on May 3rd and I have not been able to find a solution to this problem which makes me think that its on EA's end and not mine. I have never had any issues with freezing before. I was able to play battlefield 1 on May 2nd without any issues. So whatever was updated on May 3rd seems to be the problem.

I'd try killing it and starting bf then, see if it works, the other suggestion would be to do a clean install of windows with drivers only and then installing ea app with bf 1

a guy that had troubles starting bf 1 managed to find that one of his network monitoring tools was causing the issue

you unlock weapons by doing certain assignments and leveling up, it shouldn't take 1000 days, weapon and vehicle attachments can be unlocked in COOP vs AI

as for some gadgets, I think the max lvl was around 50

It's been a while since I've unlocked stuff in 2042

the only thing which takes time are the T1 things but those are just cosmetics

Does anyone know if there's any specific form you have to fill out to put your name in for BF Labs? I signed up for the BF6 playtesting portal thing that the labs site links you to, but whether or not I signed up for the battlefield playtesting/labs is extremely vague

the game was a bugfest at launch and was missing core features that the other games had that pissed people off. it's much better these days but people are ultimately just excited for the next title
