In the airplane level of battlefield 3 you are the WSO of the jet, you Just shoot and not fly the aircraft, the mission drags on for so long while most of the time you are Just siting there doing nothing

The part where your pilot is dog fighting is Just timing when to launch Flares and missiles

And after that you bomb an airfield while looking throght a thermal sight, because EA Executives played cod 4 and they needed a Chinese knock off AC130 segment

guess by trophies you play on console, right? if there is any trophies for multiplayer, hardline is pretty much dead. but on any platform you can find a full server on the weekends. battlelog can help to find the servers: https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bfh/servers/
just set the filters according to your region and platform.

New players just want to get in the game and test all sort of things, plus some will focus on assignments and unlocks, plus they don't have a clue how the game works if they have never played a BF game before

Veteran players have been playing for a longer time and have pretty much done all the assignments and only care about winning

Have to say when I start playing a new BF game my focus will be on unlocks and assignments as well

At the end of the day one team will lose and the other will win, aside from seeing win or loss at the end of the round it doesn't change much

You're more likely to run into more active servers on 2042 than BF3 and BF4.

Don't get me wrong, 3 and 4 are better BF games, but 2042 is still a good shooter and decent BF game.

BF3 and BF4 are just boring because of how not chaotic it is. And it's probably because they're older games.

Then, on BF4, you play on the same maps. It can get annoying.

Theyre both labeled as Arcade, the difference is BF is more grounded.

The biggest difference outside of gameplay (on console) is competitive environment.

PC players outside of maybe EU have very little competitive environment inside the community. Whereas console in NA is very competitive inside the community.
