the issue with mortars is that its a gadgets that allows players to play from far, get free cheap kills without any effort and it causes problems within ptfo

the recoil in bf1 is practically zero compared to a lot of other shooters. what seems like it's making your shots miss so much is spread and visual recoil

Play with the classes to find the one that suits you and then start trying out the guns in that class. Trial and error and lots of dying at first.

Kursk is a solid pick for a tank map but not particuarly special. The EF in games tends to get boiled down to a select few battles: Moscow, Kursk, Stalingrad, Berlin, and maybe Kharkov. But there are a ton more options. Theres the minor Axis powers of Finland, Italy, Romania, and Hungary, theres the Caucasus mountains and the naval landings at Kerch, trench warfare and cavalry charges in northern Russia, the invasions of Poland, Norway, Hungary, Czechia, Austria, Romania, Slovakia, etc, and so on. Its actually insane how untapped it is

Aw come on. Damavand Peak was literally a highlight in the entire shooting scene that everyone was talking about, a masterpiece of Mapdesign.
Personally i hope they go back into that direction, more CQC Maps, proper gunplay etc. Personally i always felt like BF3 only needed a few things, like Netcode wasnt that good for highend play, spotting was like integrated cheating back then, especially for airplanes this was insane or that you could never use smoke grenades.
People expected that to be coming in Battlefield 4 but it didnt.
I just hope the next Battlefield Game is a banger, would gladly take a good Battlefield Title again, especially one that has an well made gunplay that doesnt make you a pro within 5 minutes of play like the last Battlefield Titles :x

Statistically your average PC player is still better than your average console player. In the grand scheme of it all though theyre both garbage.

Me for instance I’m usually in top 5 and best squad on 5. But I would be garbage on a PC server. It’s also a factor for region. EU is mostly all PC, so theyre far better than NA players who are more console.

i reversed to a repair station but there was a car that i drove on top of

and my tanks wheels didnt touch ground so i couldnt drive off of it

therefor i was stuck ontop of that car

there were 3-4 vehicles surrounding me that couldve nudged me off of that vehicle

Well in that case it wasn’t a poor decision but you did get put in a bad position. Would have still been faster to ditch the tank and get out instead of spamming another player for 3 minutes.

a likely much worse player than me may i add

so for example if now that worse players happens to get pushed out hes going to waste that tank

and the odds of me being pushed out were high the entire time considering there were multiple vechilces surrounding me
