id say that the "skill ceiling" is much higher because of the skill floor being much lower

like i can be within top like 30-70 but its just kind of hard to estimate that skill between other players that have around equal stats

comp matches are also very different from usual matches

but id say that if youre like a high kpm kd player then you likely have good aim and good sense over the game and know the mechanics/maps so team difference plays a larger role in comp matches

atleast thats my experience with comp matches with around equal skill players

ive seen players that i go band to band with in usual lobbies get completely destroyed in comp lobbies not because they are particulalry bad individually its just that teamplay plays an extremely big role

and probably vise versa exists aswell where like statistically bad players dont play bad in comps

i used to play with a 2-3kpm medic main in usual lobbies get around equal amount of frags to high kpm fraggers in comp

Update for anyone who had the crashing in initial loading screen issue I had: Clear your EA App Cache, uninstall the EA App, install it again, clear the cache again. This sequence got me to the main menu. If you crash after a few seconds there: Delete the Nvidia App, with both of these I can now play the game normally.

For a new player I'd say sensor and weight is probably most important, but once you've got a semblance of mouse control you can better identify what suits you and at that point shape becomes super important.
