Generally the reason why metro gets spawn trapped is because theres an enemy stack perma back capping or heavily zerging into worse players to the point that they cant really play the game

It was a thing in bf3 (or earlier) certainly on clan servers where the game was part way through and if your team was winning easily it swapped, mid game, the top players to the losing side. This almost always happened when there was nothing you could do about losing.
