Not true. Combat corpman do carry grenades and other equipment. They're also trained in almost every weapon platform fielded by the Marines they protect in the event that a Marine goes down and they have to fill their place after they're patched.

The Corpsmen I knew were trained with rifles like the M16A4 and M4, but also the M240, M249, M203 launcher, Mk. 19 launchers, and M2 Browning, just to name a few.

The only thing I hold against it is the lack of servers and players, with most of the servers being 24/7 servers. The few full servers every day are full of the same sweaty lvl 140 players in big clan groups that wipe the floor. And the only maps I don’t like are golmud railway and hammerhead, imo I appreciate them as maps, and I don’t mind playing them, but they’re boring. Even though 2042 is alright with me, I’d still rather play this, cuz this shit is great. Just wish it was more casual. Ik u said that you haven’t played in ages though.

Slugs fired from pump shotguns do 100 damage, but it's actually only 99, because DICE hates slugs

And using buckshot on the M1014 is the worst

Simply because the M1014 has a far better accuracy stat than any other shotgun, so if you miss, you're not as likely to clip them with a partial shot
