hey first time here, but i wanna hop in the discussion rq because this topic interests me; this may be an unpopular opinion, but i think Battlefield V has the best movement mechanics in any battlefield game, it built off the movement of BF1 and improved and added features that i personally think fit very well in Battlefield. the sliding mechanics in BFV and 1 are really well balanced, but especially BFV, from how the speed/weight is and the way its controlled (having to tap the crouch button twice). i hope the new Battlefield game does the same as BFV did; building off of BFV's mechanics and improving on them, but not making it like CoD, which i believe is what they're going for, because from what i've heard/seen, they removed tac sprint from the game which is a major W imo

another unpopular opinion of mine.. i think BFV handled class skins/microtransactions pretty well, though it could've def gone without the loot boxes lol. it has a nice blend between class customization to differentiate yourself from others, but also isn't outrageously bad like CoD now or BF 2042. i think however it could've gone without the elite characters with back stories, and some certain outfits like the tom cruise looking one and the Ember one

Is there any way for me to play Supply Drop for example? I never see servers up, I read something about a weekly reset something, but I have no clue what it actually means.

So the supply drop mode comes and goes, it's in a rotation, atm it's B2B (back to basics)

My guess is you want the win for that mode, the alternative is to rent a server for a day and disable the pre round (can start with 1 player) and then you can get it

Good movement can counteract bad map design, as can be seen in Titanfall 2(60% of the TF2 maps are bad especially compared to TF1 maps. Better movement compared to TF1 makes it fun though). Or as can be seen in Mackay(He's fun to play with because he gets around bad map design).
