Suppression should be like BFV, I personally don't care about it but suppression is one of the aspects people associate with Battlefield. Visual suppression would make the 2042 feel more like a BF game imo for example.

i have never had an issue with suppression especially in 4 where people whine about it the most

200 round box magazines worth of bullets would indeed terrify you and at least somewhat affect your accuracy

on the flip side, dmr's do not deserve it

People hates suppression because it effects accuracy, BFV has visual suppression and it works fine, you can use it to 3D spot people too, which is especially useful in V because there is no 3D spotting with Q.

One of the biggest issues of BFV imo, lack of team balancer.

I hope NATO isn't just a front for generic western soldiers, I want to see actual country flags and character models for NATO countries. They can even sell skins based on real life military gear.

hi guys, I'm having issues with BF5. Since Christmas every time I try to start the game, after I select play on the account selection screen it just stays on that screen

like the music keeps playing, when I press a button on my controller I can hear the menus making sound, but all I see is the splash screen

I just tried reinstalling after like a month and a half of battlefield 1, but still nothing

What I mean is that we will see more variety in player models and equipment. I think they will give NATO soldiers nationality too otherwise it makes no sense to have NATO as a whole. Even the soldiers in Labs trailer used British equipment according to people who are interested in this stuff. 2042 soldiers also had country patches too despite being no pats. I think we will see military gear based on those countries, maybe even player models like BFV but for different nationalities other than just few different models for the same nationality.

My biggest issues with 2042 guns is that they aren't really real life accurate so to say. Sig Spear should work like Scar. Similar cartridge, similar length, similar RPM. Yet Spear in the game works like VHX. I would also love to see a real life accurate no recoil Vector. They just need to halve it's RPM for it to be balanced.

well there are limited RPM's / damage models you can do to achieve different MS TTK values

look at the K10 from Hardline for instance

3 BTK at 1000+ RPM, actually busted

so making things perform similar to real life can have some bad drawbacks for balancing

Well solution to Vector problem is making it 4 BTK up to 30 meters with 600-ish RPM

But it should have 0 recoil to compensate for it

All I play these days is Astroneer and Zelda on switch lol.

Nah dude, I tested it myself. BFV sliding speed = sprint speed. If there is a difference it's not noticeable in 200 meters. 2042 slide with chaining jumps is noticeably faster.
