Depends on the game. 1 and v fit that bill. 2042’s acts as a momentum boost that can be chained from a jump, to extend jump range, giving it more choice and purpose beyond just pressing it while on the ground. Same goes for Titanfall, it can be used to maintain momentum, change direction, gain a lateral speed boost. The latter two at least have something beyond just pressing it to think about

For me it's either BF4 and BFV that had the good gunplay, I like in BFV that my bullets go where I aim while in BF4 is feeling of it while also dislike the randomized recoil of V and the spread system of 4 which makes engaging enemies on medium ranges (30-40m) inconsistent sometimes like I would rather have recoil than having spread, if they could "tighten the spread little". BF4's gunplay will be the greatest

Here's what I think the next Battlefield's classes should look like:

It should be 5 classes. Assault, Medic, Engineer, Support, Recon.

Assault gets ARs, Medics get SMGs, Engineer gets Shotguns, Support gets LMGs, and Recon gets Snipers.

Carbines and DMRs are all-class weapons

It's not perfect, but it's better than giving all weapons to all classes in 2042.

i play operations mainly and i do own all the dlc but even with that fact the base maps aren't bad and even if they seem like they get repetitive real quick, just doesn't happen weirdly.
