I doubt North Korea will ever get implemented as a faction and in general they are not featured in any game akin to Battlefield/Project Reality/Squad besides single player focused like Homefront 1/2, Crysis, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, etc...

For that matter how would one even balance North Korean infantry when some have OICW and others AK-74's derivatives with 120-150 round below barrel helical magazines? Not to mention how any down to earth realistic representation of Korean People's Army would seem disjointed with reality to uninformed people because of narrative/propaganda in western media about outdated military made up solely of Soviet era equipment.

Question becomes how will people be able to cope with seeming contradiction between illusion they were fed with and reality that may be very uncomfortable to them, such as NK having main battle tanks that have active protection system, thermal imagers for commander and gunner, etc.

Yep, when you start needing to handle all of the vehicles, explosions, and the destruction that we have largely come to expect, I just can't imagine optimizing the game for that many players (hell 128 was still a mess in some regards). The maps had to be spread out enough so that smaller battles were happening at different places (kind of like Planetside or MAG where even though it was 256 players it was 32v32 in 4 quadrants, IIRC)
