the gun was designed for throwing rounds down and suppressing people. i literally said visual suppression is fine but skilled players should never be punished by having their actual aim and spread values fucked because some lowlife prone with an lmg is spraying down range

thing is, in bf4 for example the MG was still good not because it gave crazu supression, but because the person operating it had essentially zero recoil and a lot of ammo. There are already games like squad if you want the "realism" in gunfights. Battlefield has always been the more "arcade-y" kind, and if they try to mix both worlds they might end up making it annoying for both groups of players.
