V is more tactical I would say

While movement is more fast paced you also don't have 3D spotting and enemies won't be visible on minimap once they shoot

Recon is important in V because they can use flares to show enemies

Ye but when you look at high kpm players they get a lot of free kills by just movement

You have to position more smartly, know when to fall back, when to push, timing etc is more key in bf1

You can cheese a lot of fights with movement in 5

They can have a better position and an angle on you but you can just either win the fight by movement or back out of it by movement

In bf1 youre just dead if youre at a disadvantage and mistime your retreats or pushes

Also good movement allows you to switch to better positioning much quicker

But again you wont really catch good players if you arent good yourself, they have high kpms for a reason

They are just simply mechanically better and have a better knowledge over the game

I rarely play 5, played 1 game like half a year ago and got 84 kills first game, didnt think about positioning once i just abused quick in and outs with an smg

You can just heavily outpace everyone

More tactical than cod maybe but bf1 is purely reliant on just being a smarter plalyer rather than being better at movement

Well the inspiration for specialists came somewhere. It took us as the community raising hell over the lack of a basic class system for them to bring that back, which makes me wonder why it wasn’t there in the first place. I mean of course specialists aren’t all the way there like R6S but again, they were inspired from somewhere

There are a few new players on bf4 Xbox that are quite good. But yes starting bf4 now can be a little tricky as many of the things are not available anymore or hard to come by. But still a very rewarding game once you understand its quirks.

Joined a BFV game, saw a sniper with unreasonable accuracy , I rejoin as spectator , the UI not showing and somehow my game crashed like 4 times during it.

Then the sniper left the game (I got a friend in the server to confirm it) specatator works like normal back

Well duh. It’s not like I’m saying that we should take away their guns and leave them completely defenseless. Dmrs and carbines still have enough power to defend yourself and win gunfights.

But Medic should never be chosen before assault for run-and-gun tactics. The entire point of the medic is to revive your teammates while the entire point of assault is assaulting the enemy

Probably. But that’s cause every class has the base power to assault the enemy. The assault class is just specialized to it

They are definitely strong at dealing with vehicles (in most games), but they are meant for basic assaulting. There’s a reason they have the ARs.

Assault is the basic fighting class with decent damage over close and medium range.

Medic is typically a medium-range support class aimed towards healing teammates

Support has large guns that can do a lot of damage, but are clunky to move around

Recon is the sniper

Y’know, it’d be neat if they brought back the engineer. Assault would get medic and engineer would be the short-range anti-vehicle class

Well yeah. It’s an fps game. Theres no point in playing a class if you can’t somewhat fight. Even recon has non-snipers in most bfs

I do agree that in the typical class layout, assault is the anti-vehicle class with good damage throughout close and medium range.

Close range is farther back than you’d think. Plus, you kinda have to be in decently close range to use half of the anti-vehicle stuff. You aren’t hitting a rocket from afar unless you are good at tracking or the enemy is sitting still

Imo 1 did the best with medic. It makes sure you actually want to be a medic instead of the healing aspect just being slapped onto a breaching class without explosives

It’s not even much of a handicap in MW22 which has both actual and visual recoil + crossplay with PC, but MW22 favored controller play anyways which might factor into that

I watched a video about how many features of BF2 were missing in BF3 and onwards

While newer games don't try to be as much of a teamwork game as BF2(except BFV) I don't think most people enjoy being dependent on teammates to win the game and objectives

But I agree about one BF2 feature that should return in next game which is upfront unlocks

It depends. Some are through objectives, challenges and then others can just be through leveling up the class or your rank in general

it's been a long time since I've done that but the majority are being unlocked by playing and earning war bonds

then you can buy them

the DLC weapons are locked behind assignments, kill 25 enemies with weapon x and revive 10 allies for example

head to the soldier section in the main menu and check the individual requirements

if you want to unlock levels on each class the fastest way, that is being done by capping points usually and supplying allies with ammo/healing them

I think most people tend to say they like 3 more but cause of the maps, 4 is definitely the best game they ever released multiplayer wise. 4 has much better upgrades too 3 although they are quite close to each other

Could be the anti cheat, but i think you should get a message too why. The anti cheat is quite strict and wont launch if certain programs are running, this could be controller emulators, overlays etc... Unless the specific program been whitelisted
