Id say keep your fov at where you feel comfortable with visual recoil a good sense of movement and objects and have good sense of distance

But it kinda depends on how you aim aswell for example i feel awkward aiming when something is very close to me

Nah, i don't think it effects spread when aiming, it just makes hipfire spread tighter.

But if you're aiming down sights and know how spread works, you can definitely use them at longer ranges.

Out of the Battlefield games I have played, (3, 4, 1, 5, and 2042) I like 1 the best.

No TAA, graphics that hold up today, movement that is so refined and polished, entirely player ran servers.

what are the chances that BF V will be fixed? the section in norway is full of bugs, like invisible walls in the towers. i just shot 5-10 times at a soldier in the tower, always directly in the head. but there were no hit markers or anything else. just extremely annoying shit... especially when you have to travel with so little ammunition.

Yesterday I had the bug after I had freed the woman and was supposed to meet her at the bridge...I went all the way back to the bridge, who wasn't there? the woman (the mother).... was standing in the house behind the table where I had to defend her before. it's also not uncommon for enemy soldiers to glitch across the map...sometimes they just disappear into the ground...the map is full of bugs.

Like what they did to tanks was nice. They felt tanky. They felt like some single dumbass couldn't just run up, throw some bricks at it and watch a billion dollar machine die to forbidden puddy.

But they also had ammo reserves and you were FORCED to play smarter and actually resupply. Which was cool. I would rather tanky tanks that need resupplies over "Hi i'm a M1 Abrams tank and I print ammo like it was Planetside"

I worry about BF 2025's pacing, I really hope Vince's team don't copy apex or CoD's pacing because that is just so sweaty and all over the place, it's so fucking painful, I feel like BF3/4 days had that sort of sweet spot for pacing where you feel like people aren't just sprinting like Usain Bolt and sliding around and shite, it felt like players behaved like actual soldiers carrying 50 pound of gear instead of some stupid aerobatic clown show

Portal would be infinitely better if you could actually upload your custom games to a system that is setup in game. There should be 2 main sections in the browser, one to look through the different games people have made, and one to see the games that are currently being played. With this method, you could set it up where the server stays on the board as long as players are in it, instead of going away when the host gets off.

Portal was a neat idea, but it is quite obviously tacked on and never got the maintenance it needed to be something great.
