Delta Force being free to play is an immediate red flag for me. Guess how they'll make their money back? Either pay-2-win mechanics or stupid-af cosmetics. Visually the game looks decent now, do NOT expect it to stay that way. Same as call of duty, it all ends up looking like a clown fiesta at the end of the day, I assume the same for delta force

HardLine's campaign was slept on, it was fun and enjoyable.

How codified it it with the operator/hero characters. I don't want to hear cringe 'badass voicelines' at the end of every match like I'm playing Overwatch nor to I want any of those flashy gimmick abilities that forces you to play one character like siege. Not to mention how terrible the guns are, it's like a vr game where the recoil's automatic and you can't change that. Not to mention needing to pause the game twice to get to the actual options menu. It was made by a bunch of horribly undertrained staff and feels like it was some kid's attempt of making a 'battlefield mod' for G Mod or Roblox. Overall it's just poorly designed and targeted towards everyone BUT the long-term battlefield franchise playerbase. DICE lost all semblance of identity for the sake of stealing cod's.

The main reason why everyone hates it is not because it's a horrid fps (even though a lot of people do think that). It's because it isn't a battlefield game. There were a ton of features missing from 2042 that are staples of Battlefield. The entire operator system makes it so that the game can Never be a good Battlefield game. Nothing about 2042 makes you feel like a soldier in a Battlefield. As an fps game, it isn't bad. However, all of the bad choices from the voice lines at the endgame screen to the LACK OF A SCOREBOARD at launch make it the worst Battlefield game ever.

I never had a problem with the operator system and I'm a bf vet since BC with over 2k hours on BF3 and felt BF died until 2042 where I have had the best BF matches ever in any BF game.

I've supported battlefield all my life played every entry in the franchise since the beginning.

This franchise isn't what it used to be just an empty shell now.. more so now that ea is killing off bf3,4 and 1 setvers. Those 3 gamws are why bf even has a player base aanymore. Those games were balanced, fun and didn't try to be something they wernt.

BfV was a hot mess and 2042 id a cod clone.. it's safe to say if Those servers go offline then I will never again support dice battlefield and lokely never return..

I also like btf 5 movements like crouch sprinting or prone on your back, but I think the slide distance is too much like you are on some ice and I really hate bunny hoping

I installed and played a bit of battlefield 5 today, and I like it, but I find it odd not being able to spot enemies with Q after having played battlefield 1

I know you can still spot them through other methods, like with the periscope, flares and other passives, but not being able to mark them at any time feels a bit weird to me since I was like always marking them, even in 1v1 combat I think

Y'know, on BFV my friends and I have a technique that lets us just instagib tanks

We place 8 or so dynamite on one scout car

One man drives

Another man gets ready to det

Another one is in the MG who revives everyone

You simply drive the scout car up to an armored vehicle and there is no more armored vehicle

Vs armored cars when you can't get a tank it is highly effective

Anti tank is a lot more prevalent in BFV than BF1

A single assault can take out, or ruthlessly cripple a tank relatively quick if they sneak up

Tanks are really really good with infantry support

Think of tanks as mobile field guns

Because that's about all they are
