Personally an "autentic BF1" class system would best be the following
Assault: Heavy Pistols and Pistol Carbines
Medic: Bolt Action Carbines
Support: LMGs
Scout: Bolt Action Rifles

• if they would be iron sights only, maybe even make it so the accual Light machine guns can be used so like the Madsen or lewis only

replace scout with Rifleman

well except for the much better sandbox, and graphics, (and actually good gameplay)
I do think this could have made for a good game. Crank up the damage and movement accuracy of revolvers and suddenly they become hard hitting smg equivalents. The bolt action carbines in 1 are much more fun than people give credit. And it allows you to turn the mp18 and trench gun into completely busted pickup items that are common around the map. The main issue would be weapon variety for the medic as, while there are many bolt action carbines in the war, the lack of a sweet spot mechanic would make them hard to differentiate. Maybe they should get the pistol carbines instead of assault.

just utter excuses but the Braddock guy old community manager really said something within the lines of that

Kernel level anticheat is gonna curb the cheaters incredibly well

Fairfight is only a stat detection, that detects if you get too high headshot percentage or too many kills per game, its easy to spoof

this prevents the vast majority of cheaters who get their cheats from free sites, however it most likely will not decrease cheaters who have a private hack they dont share

but overall happy for the change

bf4db is the anticheat for bf4 and it solely relies on stat detection

But let me tell you the people who run it are the most power triping people ive seen

why ea just let another third party take over the anticheat, and essientially abandon it, idk

Plenty of times but you do realize after so much that eventually there's no point because you come to and understanding it doesn't matter. Also why would I need therapy? There's nothing wrong with me, just raw dawgin it.

Medication and Therapy doesn't fix this. Mental homes never fixed it. I began to understand there's nothing wrong with me, I'm normal. Also it's a quick fix and doesn't actually ever get to the root of problems to begin with. If it helps others I mean cool and all, but it doesn't for me. I'm not trauma dumping or at least not trying to but definitely I believe more people should know people like me actually exist.

I like the sweet spot mechanic. On most rifles it allows unscoped bolts to be viable, and only occasionally plays into long range sniping.
I just find it interesting to see what all of this praise for V boils down too. And theres nothing wrong with just wanting an easier game, but I would not be so often high and mighty about it

For SMGs and Medic weapons, the more you shoot the less accurate they are. For LMGs its the opposite, they get more accurate as you shoot.

In previous games this can be counteracted by breifly pausing between shots, but in 1 that is removed so you have to be more careful.

aside from flares and the minimap? Sound can be good, footsteps are pretty audible in BF1. Also just familiarity with the maps which will come as you play.
TBH BF1 is on the better side of BF games when it comes to visibility
