I only bought 2 BF games on PC, BF1 and BF3, BF3 was through Origin (at the time, now it’s ea app) and I had to launch single player or multiplayer through the battlelog website

As with BF1 that was on steam and it just fires up into the main menu

no, say a weapon needed 3 bullets to kill at a certain range, it was now 4. a submachine gun that was bad at range and needed 7 bullets to kill, was now 8. the reason it was so bad was because it didnt consider ROF much at all. so the 2btk weapons that had a slow ROF were SCREWED trying to land a 3rd shot to get a kill. while fast firing submachine guns hardly have a problem

i have played it before, after i reinstalled my windows on my pc it began now launching. I've tried running with admin rights, verifying files on steam, reinstalling the game, steam and also EA...It says "Battlefield V Definitive Edition is already running" or "Some features have been disabled because the EA app launched from another application". I've tried launching it from desktop, steam and EA didn't work...

One of the three only good things about five is that you can run up to a medic and just press the square button to get a medpack

That only works if the medic runs the med crate instead of pouches. the smaller pouches are way better since is no cooldown. But yeah, oblivious medics and supports are the bane of any bf game. On the bright side the ammo crate for support is better than the pouches. The crate provides 1 piece of explosive ammo, like smoke grenade launcher ammo, dynamite or ammo for the assault rocket launchers. And you can just walk up to the support and resupply your entire normal ammo.

Theyre both good in their own way

bandages are for target to target healing, good for when your team are just running around, but a little bit slow

med crates on the other hand passively heal in a radius like in previous games and provide bandages to your team, not to mention teammates can run to you and grab one, good for pushes and chokepoint stuff

This has one of the best iron sights in the game

The crate is stationary and the AoE healing is negligible. The radius is way to small. Throwable Med Pouches are way superior. Just spamming them yields way better result than the crate. Better mobility and an infinite amount of pouches makes the choice really obvious.

Boxes are "good" for lazy medics that Just want to kill and don't bother to heal or revive

And ammo pouches are good if you want to do the resupply assigments by force if no one uses your ammo box

Weapons depend on your class. Assault Sturmgewehr 1-5 is one of the best assault rifles in the game (its the starter weapon, so you are good) Turner rifle for mid range, piat and dynamite for anti tank, medic you can play suomi, zk, tommy gun. Take smoge grenades and use them.... a lot.... for flanking and clearing a route, support you can play the model shotugn or the bar lmg, the ke7 starter gun is also fine. Sniper play the trench carbine or zh dmr, it 2-shots on any range.

For assault il recomend the STG 1-5 and M2 carbine for Assault rifles and M1 garand or G43 for semi auto rifles , for support FG42 and Bren or M37 shotgun for CQB

No matter if you are good or bad - milk points during your games. At beginning of round, spawn on squad mates, if you are support resupply them with ammò. Play objective based modes like Conquest- get squad lead so you can ensure objectives are marked (as get bonus points). If capping an uncontested flag, build something for the extra points. Play your role, try and stick with squad mates - play your role by healing, resupplying, spotting, reviving etc. All I just said will help maximise your score with little to no skill.

but the MG42 is just better

at that play style

of an agresive MMG

then the S2-200

the MG42 has 250 rounds (can only fire 70 rounds in one burst) in a belt but worse hipfire accuracy

while the S2-200 has better hipfire but only 30 rounds in a mag

The ability to get health packs or ammo puches off of brainrot 'team mates' by pressing square, the vehicles (mostly) handle well and The Last Tiger campaign story.

Relax BF1 isn't dying anytime soon. It took BFBC2 about 10 years before it started to die.

Now it is playable after the revival project, with few servers. Vietnam is rarely populated

A lot of players (myself included) like to play recon more in bf1 since the sweet spot mechanic exists + immersion with bolt action rifles (to me sweet spot is a plus mechanic and I would play scout regardless for my beloved gewehr 98)

or you look for the official server that pops up once every blue moon

Not literly, it's preaty rare for it to be populated and show in the server list
