I’m pretty sure I know exactly why this happens but I still get so annoyed at bfv sniper reticles blurring when you strafe and then unblurring when you stand still lol

Like I’m 99% certain it’s just for balancing but sometimes in bfv you can’t even see enemies past the reticle when it unblurs so I’ll shoot way off head or something

One of the issues I've had with 2042 back when I played it was how the recoil wasn't controllable at all, I held down on the joystick and it'd just still go up, like a VR game.

If you have 'show player-generated content' set to 'off' it'd hide the Platoon screen on BF1.

On BF4 and Hardline, it'll show the insignia but not the tag, on BF1 it'll show the platoon tag and insignia and BFV is just the tag.

It's a pretty shoddy patchwork crapshow to say the least, had they made it all 'in house' without need of signing onto a application or website to utilize full platoon feature functionality it'd be perfect.

The movement in BFV is amazing and almost feels like they took inspiration from Mirror's Edge with the way you can do a roll to avoid fall damage by pressing X or jump from the edge of a broken brigde to the other side and climb, for example

However, BF1 has a lot more faction, you got Germany, France, Italy, Ottomans, Russia, UK, etc. You can even play White army against Bolsheviks, which was a huge surprise, so the amount of war fronts is huge. In BFV, it's really lackluster. You don't even have the USSR, which is atrocious for a WWII game, considering the brunt of WWII was on them, historically

Also, some of the maps in BFV seem too open and vast, more suitable for tank warfare and long distance camping/sniping. Some people might like that type of play style, but it turns SMG players into target practice

The USSR needed to speedrun the industrial revolution so delaying war with Germany was important, or they'd be fighting with pitchforks and horses instead of tanks and rifles
