People oftentimes act like bf1 is just graphics and that there isn’t a literal video game there lol, I mean as far as the core experience of battlefield goes bf1 is no different, it just gets sound design and visuals right in comparison to BFV which completely flunked in that regard

And as far as gameplay goes both have plenty of their own balancing and design decisions that create problems, but they have their pros as well, ironically though bfv has a lot more that’ve plagued it

I don’t think there has to be a comparison of them, if anything I suggest people buy both if they’re that concerned

That’s why Fortnite kept going. They keep adding and changing/updating the game drastically over time.

I like them all, I wished it had the same atmosphere that BF1 had. BF1 overall is better, personally. I like 2042 because it’s modern setting with some futuristic tech like BF4 had. Just wish 2042 had BF4 Loadout customization. I don’t mind the specialization at all. Specializations now is in a better spot compared to Y1.

BF4 is my #1 fav Battlefield game of all time to this day. So much work and thoughts into it. Even tho the launch is the worst out of the entire franchise. Way worse compared to 2042 launch.

Honestly, the devs don’t want people T1 everything in the game by just farming AI all day. Then what’s the point of the game then.

They atleast let you get every unlock for all weapons and vehicles with AI. The rest to T1 is PvP/Full XP only.

They can add team balancing for several browser. Like people did for BF4 severs. So if your team is unbalanced and getting merked hard. At a certain % or every so often will auto adjust some people. But that could lose some of your match stats due to auto team swapping (K/D and W/L). But good for the sever health.

Play devastation map. Go into C, the center point of the map. There is always heavy fighting. Search for a corner, the rubble pile in the middle is an excellent spot and go prone. Fire away at everything that moves. You have an entire round to get 20 kills.

I don’t generally understand how people like specialists except for niche gameplay scenarios and that’s it. Otherwise they’ve brought a trivialized gameplay loop we’re already seeing across other AAA fps and forced micro transactions on the player, it’s just all around bad imo

I also just hate the fact that you used to actually have to climb things, sneak around vehicles, or risk going around a corner for a kill when now there’s some specialist that makes all of that 100x easier. They’re just not battlefield and if someone were to argue that 2042 IS battlefield cause large map and vehicles, then technically speaking Battlebit is a better battlefield game than Battlefield

For a new battlefield I'd like better maps, no specialists, a higher/longer ttk and not these absolute laser beam guns like in 2042 where you can get killed from 100 meter, 64 player map, scrap 128 player maps, server browser, Squad reeinforcement system like in bfv-calling in V1/ cruise missles or tanks and supply drops if your squad earns enough points, fortification system from bfv so you can build cover on certain spots on the map. Certainly there is more but that's it for now.
