Yes. You bleed tickets when the enemy hold more objectives than you, if they hold ALL the flags your team will bleed tickets very quickly.

Joined a server named "boss". Its some clan thats pretty toxic. Admin killed me and my friend and tbagged. So I changed class and started fragging and tbagging the admins. So he changes mode to tdm and I go on a 10+ streak instantly and tbagging all the admins and got banned for it🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ massive skill issue on their part. Gonna be toxic but cant hold up when I am.

I'm trying to get demolition man achievement in Bad Company 2 on Xbox, and even though I'm pretty sure I have already gotten 20 kills using destruction 2.0 over the years, which is when the building collapses on someone, I haven't gotten the achievement. But since DICE and EA are killing the game next month, Im trying to get it. So me and someone else were trying to get it and the building needs to collapse on them and kill them right? Well we tried that on African harbor multiple times with him standing on the 2nd floor or the first floor and I c4'd the building causing it to collapse on him. But it will just say [Gamertag] committed suicide. I tried watching a video and they had their friend stand on the roof. So I had my buddy stand on the roof and it still says they committed suicide.

Bad Company 1 & 2 are great for their characters. The story is more or less the same as other Battlefield or Call of Duty games, evil Russians are trying to take over the whole world and US is trying to stop them. Bad Company 1 had the more unique story where Preston, Sarge, Sweetwater, and Hagard were like "Fuck this war let's go steal some gold and try to get rich."

Bad Company 2's story is almost the same as MW3 or MW2 where you have some Russian splinter cell terrorist guy like Markov. Except Bad Company 2's splinter cell Russian terrorist was some bald guy who wanted to set off an EMP over the US too shut down the power grid with some turn coat CIA agent who was mad at the US Government for lying about the death of his father or grandfather in WWII.

You play the stories cause the characters are great and funny. Never get tired of Hagard's lines.

BF1 still manages to be aesthetically consistent enough not to destroy the suspension of disbelief since it deviates from realism just enough to still fulfill its gameplay design

I disagree, BF1 didn’t use live service anyways but it managed to be way more fleshed out than BFV including several more maps across WW1s major battlefields whereas V fell short of the Americans and Japanese till a year after launch, and never even featured the Soviets, French or Italians

BF1 was popular because the fps industry in general was tired of super futuristic and jet pack CoDs which tbh even EA was victim to cause of Titanfall 2, bf1 was pretty much what most players wanted at the time

For me and honestly most players, we do derive fun from the aesthetics and world building of a game as well, so we’re totally thrown out of immersion seeing a literal clone of our character kill us, it’s just ridiculous to look at and after all specialists were genuinely just a cash-grab addition

For both CoD and Battlefield the most memorable titles were the ones that invoked the most emotion or immersion from the player, hence games like BF1 and CoD WaW are still really popular games

But it really depends on what a player looks for cause for more competitive players, it’s gonna be different

Nonetheless it definitely matters, I honestly do hate the trend in fps where devs appeal to more competitive elements and do shit like adding homelander to CoD just for funny

I think the premium DLC model works better than free live service. It’s one of the areas BF1 was better than BFV.

Although I do agree that dlcs should’ve either reduced in price after older games were done with their service or been sold alongside the game in some way like bf1 revolution edition

I get the issue with ‘casual’ BF players not wanting to pay for premium, but what got me were those who play BF everyday, don’t play anything else and were too tight to pay the cost of one meal out for their hobby. When you play that much the cost per hour played over 2+ years is nothing.

We then get a guaranteed roadmap and better quality extra content.

I mean I'd rather pay for DLCs or expansions than the free updates with bullshit cosmetics. At least when I'm paying for DLCs filled maps and new content there's the expectations that it should be good and quality. Unlike something that is free.

The main issue with DLC map packs and stuff is that the player base for those aren't going to be as large. It could even be that hardly anyone buys it so it becomes near impossible to find matches
