(Never played the campaign) Some Assignments descriptions are like this do 10 head shots in PvP which obviously only works in only in normal multiplayer. Some do work in coop I think but only if they don't have the in PvP addition.

Practice & repetition is what you need along with friends you can squad up with regularly. Try different classes/guns then stick to a handful of setups (usually changing dependant on map or scenario). Don’t be too tentative, keep moving purposefully, flanking is the best away to attack (easier to kill people when shooting at their backs!).
 
Move with squad, play your role whether by healing, resupplying, spotting etc. Don’t run blindly in for revives, scope the area and kill nearby enemy first.

In settings you can increase your FoV, turn off music/effects etc - this will help you see/hear enemies and focus.

Wow nice and thorough, so basic BF it is. Personally I began with BF:BC2 and BF2-3 and so on... But after playing 2042 for already tens of hours, this BFV is interesting too 🙌

Got into one Conquest and won even with probably someone hacking and those issues, feels like Battlefield nonetheless

That problem was long present before 2042. Tank Sniping is an issue in most battlefields. Adding a damage drop off like with infantry guns would aleviate that problem.

Ohh okay that part. That idea must be long scrapped. They changed the structure of battlefield dev team; how that will benefit the next game remains to be seen. My guess is that the next BF game might not blow people away but it will be at least better than the last two.

Yeah true, it had the basic BF foundations.

I expect them to play it safer; 64 players, urban maps, maybe couple remastered maps. At least for the base game.

Bad company 3 would be great for this in my opinion

you could have a mix of BC and BF3/4 maps

This "BF ecosystem" is still vague at the moment. I downloaded mw3 beta today and the app was just called "Call Of Duty", maybe they will merge everything under one app or something idk.

considering the two times they "tried" to "experiment" it did not work out

• they used up all there naming scheams by now, and BF6 or 7 would sound silly

What makes a bad company imo is: rush focused, no jets and 32 players max. So while I don't think DICE will make a game with 32 players max again. They can do things to capture that "bad company" feeling in certain game modes or in the story.

Most games drop the numbering scheme after a while but some continue like resident evil, final fantasy. Maybe that's just the japanese games.

they just need to do a great SFX and the story

bc2 maps were a bit small for 64, that's why I didn't enjoy playing them in portal.

some people like the chaos though

honestly the only thing i enjoyed in 2042 was the BC2 portal maps lol

the maps are larger for conquest

then there bad company counter parts

yeah the maps themselves were good but they weren't really made for 64. Still there is fun to be had.
