So with bfv I've been trying to get the achievement "hoist the flag" which is basically just capping 10 flags in front lines, I know there's the weekly playlist with rush, Dom and front lines, however I've capped a few flags and I haven't seen any achievement progress. I'm on an Xbox one

Yes that too. But there is bots all over the places. Bots that auto snaps to me (the target) and does not miss a single bullet. And this is on playstation where the handcontroll is much harder to aim with than a mouse. The bot can be lvl 1-24 and have a lvl 1 weapon in its hand.
It's not a one time event, it's freaking ALL the time!

I played bf V and other titles for a very long time and there were never real AI bots with bf 2042 being an obvious exception from the rule. Players just act weird but if you think that every newbie always hits their shots you are quite mistaken. If they do so they are using an aimbot which is highly unlikely on playstation. Real AI bots in games and especially dice bots are dumb and easy to kill. Once again 2042 is the best example for that.

But i can tell you this much. Bots does not need to be dumb. I've had bots by purpose in games like CS back in the late 90's and also in Quake 3. And the bots in Quake 3 were no stupid bots. You had to be a decently good player with quick responses to get down the best bot or else that bot would dominate you. Not only through incredible auto aim and quick responses. But it dominated the maps by taking armor, hp etc. Rocketjumping around

There are blatant cheaters but not as many as most people think. Have seen players with a negative kd being called out for cheating because they got one or two lucky/weird kills. People get called cheaters when they go 50-2 playing infantry in bfv. That's possible. If you get rezzed and have a good round. There are rage hackers that do 50 kills in 2 minutes but there are also players who are simply good and have played the game for a long time.

If the folk on the ground are not playing/capping the objectives the pilot with loads of kills won’t win the game (at least in Conquest). If a plane map we always spread out our squad in objectives so can revive if bombed.

Years ago when I used to play BF1 there were so many members of the community who played BF1 daily, rarely played anything else, but were unwilling to part with not enough money for one night out for premium. They then complained about premium ‘splitting the community’ - with the hours, days, weeks they invested in the game the cost would have been next to nothing per time played.
