It has the same fire rate and damage (they all have the same damage) but it's less accurate, has worse control, and only has 50 mag

The only difference I see in the stats is that it can be fired semi auto

But like why would you fire an MMG semi auto

The disparity in balance between certain guns is really taking me out of the game

It feels like it takes 4 to 5 shots from any gun I use to kill anybody, but it feels like people are constantly killing me in 3 shots or less

I tried th MG 34 and it feels like it is just a downgrade to the M1919A6, identical stats across the board with a 50 mag and the option to semi auto

I haven't looked into the specializations though so maybe its strength is in there

I've been playing with a guy who usually plays Sniper and what I do is I take my MMG and use it to pin down and spot distant enemies and then he pops them off while I'm forcing them to take cover

(until somebody runs up behind us and stabs us)

I kinda wish every class had access to every grenade in BFV

There are plenty of times where I as a support want to just lob a frag grenade into a window to take out a guy inside but it'll be very easy for them to avoid because it's an incendiary or a contact grenade, meaning I'll have to be way more accurate

That being said it's pretty handy for the incendiary to just totally shut down the window for a little bit

I think you are mistaken here the stg does 25 dmg per bullet on 0-10 metres. On higher ranges the dmg is dropping off but not even below 10 metres you get killed by 3 bullets except if somebody is giving you a headshot. Given that you are playing on a normal server. There are custom servers with 200% dmg of course.

The headshot multiplier is one reason I love using the M1 Garand, even in close quarters situations. I can usually outshoot players using automatic weapons because the Garand is a 2 shot kill with one headshot.

Sometimes defending an objective is the right move

If we're at A, and very close to B, don't tell us to go and take objective F all the way across the map while B is getting lost.

I keep having an issue in BF V where when I resupply someone with the ammo pouch as support the game won't let me shoot or ADS because it acts like I have the ammo pouch equipped in my hand despite me visibly holding my gun and I have to switch my weapon and switch back to be able to shoot again

When I play battlefield games, I spot every single vehicle I see. It doesn't matter if it's a Condor in 2042 that is super far above me completely ignoring me, it doesn't matter if it's a jet in BF4 that is going so fast I'll have no chance of killing it at all, it doesn't matter if it's a random jeep zooming by in the distance, I spot every single vehicle I aee if I can.

Sometimes it can be just be someone's way of thinking, that affects how well they do. Even among the pros you sometimes see players with worse aim do better than pros with better aim. It's just the way they approach combat and tatics that works better in the long run.

no guide a normal person asking for help is gonna tell you to turn off enhance pointer precision, change pointer speed to 6/11, pick 1 of 4 dpi, and use a big mouse pad

I always find it funny that whenever someone comes to take out my attack plane or bomber and the rear gunner starts shooting them they always try to fly lower to avoid the shots
In which I then just tilt the plane upwards giving the gunner an easy shot on the plane trying to sneak under

Having more mindfulness of what your rear gunner can see even if they’re just a random absolutely helps against fighters looking for an easy kill (doesn’t work on Tank Hunter mains though they can usually get you too quickly so you have to get them first)

I'll preface this by saying I'm 31 years old. I've been playing Battlefield since the release of Battlefield 1942 and well...

Here we are again. More games that people including myself are still playing being switched off and left unplayable. Completely lost to time. Come the end of the year, a total of 4 battlefield titles will be forever no longer playable online (The whole selling point of these games) because EA/DICE will have completely shut down the multiplayer services for these games.

You are once again telling us we are dumb for buying your games. That you can and will void access to our purchases. If you look at BF2042 sales figures and scratch your head as to why its so low. You need not. This is the reason. Why would I buy a game that requires online access to the full game, nevermind just segments. When you have time and time again shown that you will lock us out at some point in time. Whenever You decide. So poor.

And you should know this. Look at BF1942/BF2/2142. Games you chose to ditch, rescued by the Battlefield community, are STILL ACTIVE TODAY!

If its too costly for you to run these games, at least give us the choice to do it ourselves.

bf1 has sweet spots, which each sniper has a specific close/medium range that you can 1 shot body shot, but at range you have to land a headshot to kill people and the bullet velocity is really slow so that makes it a tad hard.

bfv doesnt have a sweet spot so you can only 1 shot to the head, BUT, velocity is extremely high so its easier to do at range.

i normally dont like to snipe in bf games, but imo BFV is VERY good for sniping, it just feels amazing

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat was shut down in 2011 on Xbox and Xbox 360, 2014 on PS2.

Game came out in 2005.

I think 1942, Vietnam, BF2, and 2142 all went down in 2014 as well

But those were all because GameSpy finally died

So we can't really say when BF3 and BF4 will go down, BF3 is only one year younger than BC2
