they just have different guns and gadgets, their individual perks are minimal, assault has rocket launchers, medic can throw health packs and have alot of healing, support can throw ammo packs and sniper(recon) can spot and mark enemies
depending on the situation you play all of them
if theres a tank you switch to assault and rocket it, if you need crowd control/general cqb you switch to support, if you need to complete dailies switch to medic/playing in a squad that needs healing, if your enemies are 300m away switch to recon/is a headshot bot
also explosives can destroy (most) buildings so keep that in mind when hiding in one/in a tank

I went back for a couple BFV matches on my basic bitch xbox one since that’s where i played it’s life cycle and while i think it’s better than BF2042 and something like Hardline, I definitely do not miss the low resolution, bad player visibility, the haze effect on certain maps, and the buggy, slow, and sometimes unresponsive UI. It doesn’t make it unplayable, but i do notice these things. Just wish it lived long enough to get things like cross progression so i can transfer my unlocks to other, better platforms

My problem with BF1's variant system is what the fuck is the difference between a factory variant and a storm variant, and also the fact that trench variants are basically the best. you're trolling yourself by not using a trench variant of a gun if it has it.

Like, the fact that BF1 has visual recoil basically makes it so that Factory and Storm variants of fully automatic weapons are practically worthless because any benefits are negated by the fact that the game overexaggerates your recoil to be annoying.

There is a huge difference between the automatico storm which reduces the ads recoil and the trench variants in terms of ads recoil. The hipfire difference isn't noticeable at least for me, hipfire recoil is not that high even with the storm. I can handle the storm variant much better. Can even kill people on mid range with it but the trench ads bounce is just terrible
