Hi guys. i don't know if this belongs here but i have been searching everywhere and i cant find anything. I got a problem with starting battlefield 4. The problem is when i start the game it starts and i see that loading icon then the loading icon disappears and all i see is a black screen with the battlefield 4 theme music. i have tryd to run origin and battlefield as administrator. Change the file premissions for battlefield 4. Update the game repair the game. Help!!

Check your firewall to be sure it is open to the game and not blocking it. Go to your documents, then battlefield 4 folder and delete it.

Once you do that, open origin and go to BF4 game, right mouse click the game and repair the game

i don't really care about offline bots. I just wish community servers were more active, but since the switch to EA App, some servers have had issues trying to get players because community servers don't get matchmaking till they get about 50 players in, while Official servers have it by default.

Which is why seeders or bots exist, simply to get matchmaking or to get people into the server because like i said, people don't generally join empty servers.

I've come to the conclusion that BF4 maps suck, the game isn't balanced at all, and that Locker is the only somewhat okay map in the entire game. Movement is clunky as all balls as is the shooting. Sound design is great but pales in comparison to recent games. The only thing I can see being good from BF4 is the quantity of content given to the player. However, a lot of it is just... shit.

Okay, I found the fix of my own. Deleting the folder with the BF1 settings in the documents folder of the user and restarting it seems to have worked. Posting that for posterity in case anyone ever runs into that bug as well.

The resolution scale the autosettings had picked stretched the screen in a way the skip button wasn't available.
