I started online fps on Medal of Honor 2010 which was also a DICE game. When our clan looked for a new game we wanted another DICE/Frostbite engine and Hardline just happened to have come out. Loved it - had 64 player TDM and brilliant rental servers.

Medal of Honor 2010 bugged me because it was quite clearly just reskinned Bad Company 2.

They have been pretty much identical since BF4 really in terms of feature set. BF3 on consoles the hardware just wasn't there for full player count and the larger maps.

When I first played MP I just kept getting killed over and over but something about the game gripped me. I just had a desire to work it out and get decent so after spending God knows how long dying, I got somewhat decent at it.

That’s the fun of MP fps games to me, the challenge of working at the game to get better. Unfortunately a lot of folk don’t have the patience then DiCE feel they need to make the game more inclusive (at the cost of removing the competitiveness fun out if it)

I tend to find the smaller infantry based Tactical Conquest maps are more the challenge. The Strategic Conquest maps on BFV tend to be full of more casual players so lots of enemy who don’t know how to shoot

Yeah, The LMGs are pretty easy in newer battlefields cause of better LMG mechanics but ones in BF4 are unforgiving if you can’t maintain recoil

This is why I don’t play much of support class with lmgs, (mostly carbines)

I’m mostly an engineer tank driver

Tonight I was on BFV with 6 clan mates - we all got into same server immediately, on same team - playing the part of the rotation we like. You cannot do basic things like this on the main game of 2042

I only played warzone during lockdown in 2020, whenever my friends were free to join in. Was fun during that time, but I've never been a massive fan of BR games. It was more just having fun with friends that was the good part, I didn't care for the rest.

BF1 is my first Battlefield. I've been playing every day for almost 7 weeks and mostly Operations, Conquest and Team Deathmatch. My aim is terrible. I am Supporter and Assault main but walk out of most rounds with about 6 kills and 15 losses. But I don't feel like I'm improving at all and I hope someone can help me here

For aim find a good sensitivity you like,high low or in-between
Also the starter guns on all classes are good enough,make sure to use your gadgets often and right
