Stories in both are great

1 has great looking SFX and graphics

Sounds

And 5 has huge Maps and huge variety of weapons and vehicles

Sounds are pretty awesome too

So much that they used a lot of them in 2042

BF1 had a naval dlc where you could use destroyers , and there were the behemoth which were a lot of fun

5 doesn't have navy tho there are amphibious tanks and boats

Modifications in 5 are way better

Animations as well

Each have unique features

We have weapon kits like flamethrowers and katanas but in 1 you had tank hunter , trench raider etc

These two games are just great man

yeah in the older bfs ars were only really good at short to medium range and even if you tap fired they were only ok at long range so with the maps being so big everyone gravitated to snipers. in 2042 ars actually have a chance to kill someone at long range especially with the long range attachments you can put on them now so you’re not getting dominated by snipers anymore unless they’re super far away and from my experience theres less snipers

See, in this region, the population is low enough that you will get a pretty good idea of who’s an absolute pain in the ass and get a read on their play style.

Greasy specialises in playing on Tactical Conquest and will always, always camp the tank spawns.

If he doesn’t get it, he’ll happily wait upwards of ten minutes for one to open up.

Say your team was getting shat on by bombers, but instead of picking aa your entire team sits in heavy tanks taking pop shots across the map. If you factor in how dumb some players are, player choice is not all that good of a feature
