Twisted Steel is one of the few Strategic Conquest maps I don’t mind (Provence is the only one I love)

The guy’s an outright liability. He’s not just incompetent, he actively impedes the team by destroying every bit of cover on the map.

It's a right bastard of a thing to use and is only marginally more powerful than the Boys.

I recommend using the 3x scope for AT rifles, as you are not going to be doing long range sniping with the thing.

Well maybe, console players are often more stationary so they might be easier targets. But the aim assist doesn’t make it easier, it counters the fact that u are using a small stick to aim, using your thumb and not a mouse on a pad.

When you get down to it, it depends on whether you like bombs or rockets.

I can't remember the specific designations of the aircraft, but both the Corsair and Zero's white-painted models pack HMGs and nasty rockets. They're supposed to be more specialised for air-to-air, but they'll make a mess of ground targets too.

Go for the extra HMGs rather than cannons.

The cannons do fuck all splash damage and you'd waste time swapping weapons in A2A.

On the bomber version, though, quad cannons with HE ammo used to ruin infantry when the Pacific first dropped. Downright broken, actually.

They nerfed the hell out of that, thankfully.

Really, it all depends on whether you can land your bullets on infantry. It's not easy, but you can focus down people and shred them with a few rounds.

Finned Barrels upgrade is a must when going for the all-HMG loadout.

It's all about priority targets. A lot of pilot mains just focus on padding their k/d and will farm infantry all day.

What you should do is find and take out vehicles.

A solid hit will, at the very least, have them scurrying for the repair station.

BFV's air-to-air combat is just not very good.

Getting someone off your tail is nearly impossible unless you do whatever the fuck it is that bleeds off all your speed instantly without even turning hard

God I hate those guys.

All you can really hope is that friendly planes and AA are paying attention.

It all boils down to “get on their tail before they get on yours”.

Because any halfway competent pilot will not be shaken by any amount of fancy flying.

Help out your fellow pilots when they’re being tailed. They’ll appreciate it.

On provence if I'm American side , i get a Sherman and go to the city side continually supporting infantry as i watch out for enemy armour. I won't overdo it either i stay at a certain area where I can be at maximum effectiveness, might have to take a long trip back for resupply but team shouldn't struggle that much in a bit.

On German side tho it's a different story , since i don't really think Pz 4 ,s are competitive enough against Sherman's and infantry i go with the tiger and in that , i go towards the mid / further right of the map in the fields and control the 2 objectives there and completely obliterated any armour that tries to undo our team . Underground can be very quick if one team gets all three flags. This happens most commonly with enemy spawn trapped at C - I spend my time jumping through the windows into their spawn/out of bounds to pop a few before running back in, rinse repeat

Hey in bf5 yeah, we got mastery challenges and that but for the sights how(if you can) can you unlock gold for the different sights? For example my krag Jørgensen got gold on the iron sight(which I prefer) but I sometimes play with 3x too, so is there a way to get gold on that?

This can happen a lot in BFV. It’s especially common on the ‘sweat maps’ (Al Marj & Underground). It’s a combination of no team balancing and sweats banding up together. That said, you see numerous lower level players on the losing side seemingly happy to lie back with mgs with no intention of trying to cap anything.

I don't know why but I've been playing Battlefield 1 for 3 weeks now, my only shooter before that was SW Battlefront 2. And I'm not improving at all. Neither movement, nor aim.
