I’m getting back into streaming and effectively starting again and while I play cod and other games, I want to make battlefield/redsec my main game, I’ve hit iridescent in cod and it’s now boring with cheaters etc,

Cod streamers ruined the game and I don’t want to be same type or contribute the same way to battlefield because it’s always been the best war sim since the first bf I Played which was bf3.

Since this is the battlefield discord I want to know from you guys and girls, what advice and thoughts would you think would help?

For context:

I’m from the uk, the age of master Oogway, play on console and have a mid-low tier PC. I am of the belief that battlefield deserves more attention if the devs continue to pledge and actually work on the game based on community feedback.

I mean I could really sit here and make a list of reasons as to why solos for this game is pointless and really just not needed but I'm not going too XD. Duos already has a horrendously awful player count, and the ratting is extremely awful 2 things that just make it pointless to play. That and duos seems to have so much more cheaters because well it's duos so i could only imagine solos. Audio is still horrendously bad in this game to the point you have to search up your headset to configure your audio lmfao. Uh UAVs just do not work whatsoever because majority of the players in solos are just sitting in corners waiting for you to walk into a building

To my knowledge, the current ranked system can put you on a server with players from different regions. I guess you can experience desync when fighting players from another region.

A region select list will also solve the issue of long queue times for ranked for many people. No matter how much you refine the matchmaking to make queue times shorter it will always be limited by region specific problems

Yeah so you get more RP if you get kills when you’re in a better placement. If you’re top 3 each kill is worth 24RP. When you first drop in and you’re top 25 it’s only worth 10.

That’s a bit different, BF has never bene the best with their outside game modes other than their MP ones. Remember firestorm? That shit failed miserably, if Redsec didn’t have the start that it did, it would be dead too. EA/Battlefield devs just don’t really care about Redsec as much as other modes. Cant really compare it to other games too which started with a ranked mode and had an actual layout and plan.
