Ok, there's no way I'm this freakin stupid.

I have BF6 on steam. I've downloaded the game and am trying to play RedSec. but it's sending me to manage files and I click on REDSEC and it goes to installing, but I've let it sit for OVER 2 HOURS with no update. I have gigabit speeds and have played the game for over 30 hours since launch. WTF is going on.

I was already recommended to close and reboot steam, no change.

Hi in this game is there any mode where doing pvp each time we get rewards which we can use to unlock/upgrade units or skills or weapons or litle bit of stats etc and these stat progression is persistent which we should get to carry for next pvp battles, so it must have permanent strength progression? Also during a pvp match our gears/powers/stats/skills must not be equalized and higher stat geared players should do more damage or atleast little bit advantage than lower stat geared players.

For those on PlayStation. I would go into your console settings and mess with the audio focus option. You need headphones in order to use it but you can make footsteps super loud and change how the game sounds overall

I've never liked battle royal games. Not like I hated all of them it just wasn't for me, however bf6 has done it in a pretty good way. It definitely won't replace the main modes for me but I enjoyed it. My second game I got 6 kills in about 3 mins before turning the corner and finding a tank. None of us had anti tank so that was the end. Gauntlet was really fun too and I'll be playing it a lot. Overall I'd say they did pretty good with the update, better than I was expecting tbh

It just keeps loading a small window with a gray loading bar that then turns green. When it finishes loading, the window disappears and the game closes without even trying. I just threw a c4 on top of a DOWNED enemy and the inevitable enemy teammate showed up next to them. I detonated the C4. It did precisely zero damage and they wiped me. Sick 🔥

It’s not like every gun in this game takes forever to kill… like the time to kill is extremely fast, C4 has ALWAYS been one of those tools (that recon has) that can blow stuff up. Set up ambushes, set traps to detonate a sniper nest that you had in the case it gets infiltrated.. it’s obnoxiously low damage. Even 3 doesn’t automatically kill and that’s unacceptable

I'm gonna put this in here but I asked in #battlefield-6 if we had automatic sprint without having to toggle it. Like warzone has and someone mentioned key binding sprint.
I did this and my running automatically happens now when moving. All you have to do if you are on controller is go into your controller settings and then go down to Sprint under movement. Click on it to rebind it to a different key and then tap up on the left stick. Confirm everything and now you have automatic sprint without having to tap it

Played BR for first time. I see two problems:

  1. No Cross-Play off in EA app/Steam, causing to be matched with controller players with lack of experience
  2. Backfill. And even no free redeploy. Dunno why they have to add backfill in the first place.

Number 3 are optional but Multiplayer/REDSEC challenges are merged as weekly challenge, would be cool if this can be reconsidered

Just add the server browser to the main game, like in BF5, and remove the bots. Stop being so stubborn. This will greatly improve the game and matchmaking. Because constantly getting the same map and lots of bots is unacceptable.

i think a leaving penalty would be suitable for this game because of the whole redeploy system. in literally every game ive played in fill whenever my teammates lose their respawn (OFF SPAWN most of the time) they just leave the game instead of waiting to be redeployed and then the match just isnt playable because this is a team orientated game. maybe they could introduce temporary matchmaking bans for people who consistently leave games

BR is really undercooked for solo players. Idk why people even ask for solo mode in apex cos that game has the most insane tools to communicate as a solo player. If they just took a page out of apex's book like when you knock someone your character clearly says "Enemy down" and the team knows you've killed someone. That is a MASSIVE piece of info to give your team. I think there's a button for "I'm defending this area" but ther'es not even a button for "I'm gonna attack this area" like in apex. Oh and another massive piece of info that apex gives is when you get hit by an enemy your character says "I'm taking fire".

I would of reported the players but I have no idea how to unless spectating my killer. I can't bring up leaderboards to find and report them and kind of impossible to report the cheaters that won when endscreen is up and again no way to check leaderboards.

I ran into an issue so apparently every player that was downd i finished off with my melee it dose the animation where you rip their dog tags off but I go to check my collection and I didn't get any new dog tags even tho I stabbed over 100 people by now. Is anyone else having this issue?

Now for some reason when I melee players who are standing, crouched, or prone It registers and I get their dog tags added to my collection but for players that are down and i deliver the final blow and rip off their tags i go to my collection to see what they looked like and I got nothing! Now in BF5 battle royale (fire storm) when you finished off a downd player with melee you still got the dog tags same thing was also in BF2042 when you finished off downd player with a melee attack and got new tags. I don't know why it doesn't work here in BF6.

Why does BR have an afk timer while you are dead? I was full dead no second chance. I had a full team that was doing well. So I just chilled till they could get a response beacon. Then I got kicked for afk...wtf did they want me to do? Wiggle my mouse every 30 seconds? Swap camera views? I can literally do nothing.
