It's a downgrade on almost every aspect of the game.

my issue is less that this one exists and more that others have been archived. Channels like #technology and #other-games are gone for "low activity" yet #hazard-zone is kept open despite the game mode being functionally dead and the channel having 10-15 messages per day. It just feels odd to remove active channels for specific topics but then having multiple channels that could easily be merged into one or removed altogether. It's not mandatory to finish it you get the battlepass and the tier skips, if your subscription expires and you buy normal version of the game you still have the battlepass unlocked as well as the 25 Tier Skips as long as your expiration is from the 29th onward

Yeah I've been playing fps titles I think since early 2004 and haven't seen any game where the later unlocks are anywhere close to the "starter" weapons, guarantee you the M4A1 is going to be broken as anything and maybe when the battle pass drops they will add a "contender" weapon which will be good until whatever the season 2 battlepass weapon is. I wouldn't worry about people playing against bots given the fact their doing so in an attempt to FOMO on weapons that will have marginal differences anyways
