Yes, I have done that many times. The game actually forces me to. I'm on a much deeper level of troubleshooting than that lol. The thing is my game worked fine too, so did BF6, on my previous Windows 11 install, leading me to believe this is an underlying issue with EAAntiCheat and newer versions of drivers, specifically probably chipset drivers.

Like I am getting to the point where I might have evidence to send to EA but we'll see.

Yeah, unfortunately that was one of the first things I tried to do. I really appreciate the help. These tips should work and might would work for most people, they're the first that are suggested anywhere you find this issue or similar ones. I'm at the point now where I have gone from access violation crashes to being able to play for ~3 hours (or a random amount of time) before, suddenly, I get connection errors, then I need to close the game and verify files. I am trying to figure out what is corrupting EAAntiCheat while the game is in play, maybe something at the kernel level. Unfortunately, anti-cheat blocks a lot of useful tools I want to use like ProcMon lol.

I'm wanting a 32" 2K IPS- HDR 400+ certified monitor and I'm thinking curved, high refresh rate, would like adaptive sync for both free and g-sync yada yada and wanted to see if you guys are using a 27" flat panel at 2K or using a 32" curved and would the pixel difference between the two be that noticeable? The second primary weapon is not mandatory and can bd replaced by grenade launchers. You can have 3 GL them (1 mounted + 2 as gadgets). I also saw that carabines will be allowed to have mounted too (m4a1 at least confirmed). What are your thoughts ?

Legit all of the official EA servers on BF4 and prior are all dead and are just community hosted servers on the server browser now (most of the time, even if you did find one it may have a hacker in it and isn't worth being in)

BF1 and after have some official servers from DICE/EA but idk how long that'll last

Shotgun has been nerfed to be sure you can't kill when the enemy is more than some feet. Underbarrel shotgun might be op if it's the same as bf2042 tho

Sniper imo is the one weapon class that should be class locked to recon even in an open weapon playlist. It creates a balancing problem when that weapon type specifically (which is by far the most class-defining of the main weapon types due to it being a long range one shot) can be put on such a flexible class.

There does in fact come a point where too much expression outright harms your sandbox balance. And I would argue a sniper+an m4a1 for just picking assault is stupid especially atop a spawn beacon of all things.

Generally the one exception people keep bringing up for "open weapons broken" is the sniper

I would specifically just class lock that one weapon class to recon to
A: help define recon better cuz imma be real a sniper is by far the most defining weapon type in this entire game of the main 4 weapon types. It quite literally has its own form of skill expression and playstyle that none of the weapon types even come close to achieving.

B: not make the assault be a spawn beacon snipe camper on crack because they get 2 primaries and a stim that reveals nearby enemies that try to jump them

Signature weapons should be reworked to have a passive bonus and a free attachment. Like if you play sniper you have a free reduced glint attachement which makes your weapon more suitable. It would help to play the class more than "more time when stabilizing" passive

Another problem of open weapons is that is alien acid in the logic circuits. Is another stab in team work, if people can give themselves ammo, or spawn on a item, people depend less on others. Forget that this is a team game.

Do people remember that Battlefield is a team game objetive oriented?

the only 3 weapon types I would argue are by far the most potentially class defining are (in order of relevance)
1: Snipers
2: shotguns

Even if I'm on my own I still often do this frankly. If vehicles are an issue run engineer. I usually go support. If I see a vehicle nobody is using I'll take it and make the best I can of it. At launch I might run assault sometimes for the spawn beacon tbh.

I doubt I'm gonna play recon much at all at launch tbh.

Given recon does have the c-4 which can be quite funny to kill some vehicles with. The UAV ability is also nice too.

The game has a server browser built into it that lets you browse community hosted servers. Almost all the official EA servers are dead and if they ever get alive they often have a hacker in them so just stick to the server browser

I also am busy with dental school. So I generally just play on my console now sadly.

It's just much more convenient with xbox's quick resume feature tbh

The one cool thing microsoft did with the xbox os was create quick resume for it tbh, genuinely makes gaming in dental school possible for me with how busy I am.

I think the Battlefield games are better when the enemy has a face and is recognizable. Like (I am sorry if anyone here is chinese, much love!) the chinese army.

BF6 would have been a better game if the enemy tanks had a big Z poorly painted on them. I feel that having generic or mercenaries enemies diminish the impact of the game.

Not just that, different armies generally have different weapons, so is more fun to play with the bad guys with the AK instead of "this guys get a usa rifle, and this other guys get a different usa rifle".
