Battlefield 2042, Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V are very completely different games, especially in movement mechanics, gunplay and vehicle control which vastly change the gameplay entirely

CoD pretty much has the same thing except minor tweaks, especially if you compare the three most recent games since Gunsmith was practically a 1:1 paste across those games, slide-cancelling, air-mantling, etc.
