IIRC the same happens with vehicles, where if they are healed up past where you damaged them, you dont get attributed with a destroy assist.

I also think there is a timer threshold after your damage done, to when its destroyed. If the timer is too long, your damage isnt counted as an assist

As someone else had said earlier REDSEC/Battle royal as concept itself is not grounded. Tanks have been heavily nerfed in both REDSEC and multiplayer for example ammunition cuts and aim guided missle. Availability cut. Health brackets. And something I’m completely against BF even making is tank health regeneration. That’s just for tanks alone. Which affects multiplayer as well (except for ammo cut). Clear visual, mechanical and architectural contradictions that aren’t bf identity at all. Impractical tactical cosmetic gear (breaking that promise I mentioned earlier) another good example is the wicked grin skin for assault. And why are the British styled like they’re living in 1985 where as all of pax armata looks like they’re coming out of 2042? The gun play is comparable to COD in some aspects. Like chaotic pacing (also the lack of bigger maps like in older BF games) and the progression system is terrible. Those are just a few things.
