when Im piloting a transport heli, I'd rather be in free-fall than have it try to do anything
not even considering the fact that they can just run off with your vehicle at any time

maybe they should save that mechanic in modes where the bots are the intended experience, not when theyre functioning as backfill

yeah but for some vehicles to be useful I have to be actively switching from pilot to gunner seat

like the transport heli, the jeeps, the quads and the bikes, even the attack heli

the transport heli is a pretty powerful vehicle when you dont use it to just get from spawn to point and ditch it immediately, or when no one spawns in the pilot seat to instantly kill the vehicle, which with bots is guaranteed to happen

anyways you wanted to see someone complaining, theres always stuff to complain about lule

Drones sound good in Val wartapes at least in MP on a surround system and tv 😂. The only audio that’s not amazing in that mode is footsteps. But bullet tracers and explosions etc are fairly immersive otherwise

well, the high dynamics description is "large difference between quiet and loud sounds" so I thought that with my newly acquired external sound card (audio interface but whatever), some high-end headphones Ill have fun with it and hear everything nicely, and not straight up not hearing half the stuff

For videogames you kinda want everything as close as possible in loudness. You dont want steps quieter than shots if possible. So night mode is what you want

yeah the 770s are the beyerdynamics dt770. But there are quite a few different versions. You got the 770x, pro and the different ohm versions. 32/80/250.

From what i heard at the time i got these 80 was the sweet spot

also dont forget to change your bitrate in the windows settings for your audio interface. I cant recommend going above 24/192000. Some games break above this number and wont give audio.

And music wont be recorded / streamed on anything higher

I’m so done. I tested the gun recoil in the lab, and it looks like the recoil is back to hard-yanking the mouse. Then DICE dropped a new muzzle, and you have to equip it to keep the recoil from pulling the mouse around.

DICE actually pulled this stunt just to drive down suppressor usage!

and if youre the 3rd recent person to damage it then you get no kill credit, so if a jet tapped it for 1 hp and then another missile shot it down then you get no credit, or if someone hit it with a gun etc etc

This is speculation, but maybe they do something similar this time around? It sucks is what it does

They will activate when a projectile enters their vision range.
They will then destroy a set number of projectiles at a set interval. The number is higher for combat medic when you have the 3rd "perk", but it's not many
After a set time they blow up.

So just hope an IFV doesn't fire at you because it can't stop all 6 shots

See that's the tricky part. It's vision range does not look directly up. So the mortar shell has to land in front of it, or to either side. If it lands on top of or behind the APS, it will destroy the APS without it doing anything

Theres atleast 2 crashes a night in my friends group of 4, i just got a new bug where I cant see my weapon or hud, desync still sucks, i got launched across the map by being sledge hammered, the ui doesn't exist at random points in gauntlet, some of the decryption beacons are stuck in the ground.
