in my opinion, DMRs should be balanced the same way SMGs are balanced against ARs - they can be allowed to overlap and share similar CQB TTK figures, but the stuff that really sets them apart is how they stretch out to range, fire rate, accuracy, etc.

average 5 shot btk for the 5.56 ARs with the SOR and L85 being exceptions keeping a 4btk potential due to low firerate

7.62 ARs get 4 shot kills at all ranges, NVO drops to 5, then you increase headshot multiplier so accuracy is rewarded, specially on the high recoil 7.62 rifles like the TR-7

SMGs would be at minimum of 5 btk with the UMG and SL9 being 4 btk due to low firerate, the vector a 6 btk with normal mag sizes, the SCW reworked entirely to be in the same archetype as the Scorpion Evo and Vector.

They're inconsistent to use unless you pick slug rounds on the M87

I was thinking about the battlefield 6 map issue. About them being to small and I have an idea for how we can get bigger maps.

Copy paste 2042 maps into battlefield six ( only the ones that make sense for the story) then shrink them down so it’s not too big for 64 players instead of the original 128. And make some minor changes if needed for balancing.
This way the maps have similar graphics and don’t look out of place. And we’ll get big maps. Without having to revamp old maps and make full new once. So we can possibly get 3 maps per season
