i kinda wish spotting was a more active aspect of the game like BF2, felt like spatial awareness and spotting were very necessary but that was also due to the lower visiblity at range and how lethal some guns were when y ou stopped moving and took shots

im looking at the damage of guns from BF2 bc the ttk felt quite long compared to newer titles but they are actually on average 3 shots kills more than 4, but there was such a big accuracy penalty for automatic fire and firing when moving TTK was artificially extended

under ideal conditions, BF2 had wicked fast ttk, but it was so hard to land that many shots on target reliably

im pretty sure the ak101 could 1 tap to the head sometimes too

and that was a regular AR

I would try uninstalling BF6 with revo uninstaller then delete any EA/Battlefield/DICE/Frostbite folders from AppData, Program Data, and Program Files

And double check the Steam directory for any leftovers as well

I had random crashing issues and found probably 5ish leftover files even after uninstalling BF6 with revo

it's not crashing, it won't get past Connecting to Online Services, just goes to Connecting Failed. Worked fine before they broke it a couple of months ago. Done the reinstall etc, same with anticheat. There clearly needs to be better output / diagnostic info when the connection failed dialog is displayed, or in this kind of persistent situation.
