Damn. Yet another small but notable way they screwed over closed-class players.

I would have preferred if they just flat-out told us they don't plan on supporting closed class modes.

At least then we'd know what to expect.

What bothers me about the loadouts in particular is that the way they treat them suggests that they're hosting closed weapon matches the same way as portal modes.

Instead of treating them as an alternate main mode, it's just a glorified custom server.

I've dropped koth for now since I keep getting put into teams where people do not rush the objective. Very frustrating. It's conquest, escalation, domination and tdm for me right now.

now I dont run ak4D anymore cuz I did some build just for match trigger and semi autoing to turn it into a dmr when I realised switching between semi autos mode and automatic just takes away most of my brainpower when full auto wouldve been better anyway and I stopped using the weapon

man, makes me think of the only thing I really miss from BF2042, which is all the destress activities you could do, like running at people with a ballistic shield (peak fun activity, actually thanks to it I got like 2 other people to play the game with me), running around with grappling hook and throwing knives (ladders are kinda similar to grappling which is nice but they often fail when you need to deploy them quickly and the deploy mechanism is also a 50/50 between the game deciding which one you need and I wont speak about knives now cuz youre better off meleeing someone) or legit just skydiving with that chick with the wingsuit

snipe which has been infantilized and not that rewarding
or
hop into one of the ground vehicles where you just blow up, regardless if its a tank (5000 mines and possible 2 shots from everyone) or jeep (everything on the map that you touch blows up)
or
the air vehicles where you literally get painted without leaving spawn and then have fun against ToWs on the map, in enemy vehicles and just inconsistencies of the air gameplay in general

because you can level it up enough to unlock the warfighter version which gives you access to it
