tbh it's misused as an item, the smoke shells are the infinitely more powerful thing especially in breakthrough since it lasts 7x longer than actual smoke grenades, and the plume is much bigger

it isn't as bad as BF4, because smoke is locked to support mortar smoke is just strictly better in every sense of the word than the grenade, unlimited ammo, it's bigger, unlimited range, so you can choose another grenade if you want

you can also cheat around the 3d minimap spot by picking up the mortar after it's fired and you will disappear

precision fire doesn't really matter w/ the smoke

APS doesn't require LOS, it has a full rotation of angle of its view, it will intercept anything in a 360 degree cone of vision

I like having structure to the gameplay so games like HLL work better for me. Its nothing that new its just on a larger scale and more realistic than battlefield or other shooters

but not so realistic youve gotta change your socks so you dont get trenchfoot

Has anyone had any issues with completing a task but for some reason its not registering?
Ive emailed steam they said it's not their issue, I emailed ea support and never got any help.

1. the issue is I cannot get my engineer to level 2 because if you check there is a simple task you need to complete which is to heal a teammates vehicle as engineer and score 1000pts.
   I have fixed vehicles way past that but it goes back to zero after every match.

I even have a award on my profile saying I scored 800pts in one game. So obviously ive passed 1000pts.

Does anyone know or have a idea of what I can try to do to fix it?

I had this experience too and I think it's because you hit their arms and expect torso damage. Even from the side, it seems like arms shield the torso and you do minimal damage despite it being an upper body shot. Kinda bs IMO. I'm pretty sure that's what's happening and I haven't trusted shotguns since I figured this out. If somebody can confirm that would be great.

I ran into an issue last night, playing as engineer, breakthrough mode, spawning right after the enemy took a sector I couldn't throw down mines on the new sector.

its on purpose. you cant throw mines down in redzones anymore. while the zone changes. as long as the enemy cant push / you are retreating its a redzone. hence you cant place mines

It was on the Lib Peak, third sector(second to last), on the defending side. As soon as they took both A an B and it was updating to the new one, I spawned and tried to lay mines on my side on the new sector itself.

Sorry for my emotions, but This is honestly starting to annoy me. Every time I unlock a camo for a weapon, the UI keeps showing that I have unlocked a new attachment. But when I open the weapon, there is nothing new there. Still, the weapon remains highlighted as if something is waiting.

I genuinely do not understand why such a simple UI bug cannot be fixed.

I have read posts in Facebook groups where people say that you cannot fix things quickly because the team is small. With all due respect, you have earned billions and you have been around for many years. At this point, those kinds of excuses do not sound very convincing.

It feels, at the very least, unprofessional. Every release seems to have the same recurring issues. Since the shift to the live service model after BF3 and BF4, things have not exactly improved. No offense, but the issue I mentioned above is just one of many things that are genuinely frustrating.

And I am honestly concerned about the lack of strong, memorable multiplayer maps. If something does not work out with Hagental Base, it really starts to look worrying for the future.
