Suits dont just control "making money" depending on how invasive the suits are (aka corporate control) suits maybe involved with literally everything. EA is a studio which definitely leans on the more corporate control side of things, therefore they actively intervene more in decisions about the game, so they will definitely put their thumbs on the scale for which maps get added, where resource allocation goes, what weapons are added ect. I genuinely don't believe suits give a damn about what weapons are added lmao. That's like the devs having to go to suits every time they want to balance a weapon or add something like air radar. Devs have more control than you think and the xDefiant devs showed that very well but I won't get into that because EA doesn't like it for some reason.

The devs just flat out don't listen - like look at all the horrible BT changes they made, who asked for that? Who asked for escalation timers to be changed? Air radar was asked for way before the beta and we still don't have it. Jets still don't have customization. Simple things which should be there by default.

TOWs and RPGs can't get nerfed without other AA being buffed hard , machine guns need to do 4x damage then they currently do otherwise choppers will be unkillable
