One thing I'd like to see them pull forward from BF1 would be the trench warfare aspect. If anyone remembers the Apocalypse DLC, that's the design I'm talking about. Mirak Valley has a section near one of the bases that resembles the concept, and that's a pretty cool area to fight over.

In my experience, you might be able to get a long-range lock, but at that distance the jet has ample time to outmanouvre the rocket. Ideally, that tank works best against aircraft at mid-range.

The AA tank might be untouchable, but it's going miss most of its shots.

Meanwhile the other team's air only needs to worry about opposing air in the majority of the zone.

So putting on a low-zoom scope will let you acquire targets a little bit faster than a long range zoom scope. That'll open up some doors to letting you keep in the mid-long range shooting distance. Also, there's no glint at that zoom, so usually people won't see it coming when you take aim.

That sounds about right. I think the only map where the spawn AA actually works is Blackwell, just because there's a ridge that literally overlooks the entire map right at the edge of their spawn. But on other maps, there's usually too many obstructions.

What sights do ya'll use on the M277? I'm trying it out for the first time tonight and finding it a bit hard to control. They'd be significantly more versatile if they would do 34-27 damage at minimum, and have a 5m further damage drop off range, as it stands right now they're not good to use even in emergencies, it's always better to try and wait out your primary reload than to switch, where as in previous games that was almost never the case

That's true, they also undervalue the audio cues that can help you in the game, and in general positioning, they wouldn't need to be as aggressive with the sliding/slide jumping if they were fully paying attention to their surroundings instead of relying solely on quick reflexive reactive shooting
