Re laser des - you can also manually mark ground although it's not very helpful. Funny to Javelin snipers, but not effective. Once marked lock on things can lock on faster and from further away - including stuff that can't normally lock onto that target. For example, stingers can lock onto laser painted tanks..!

Penguin says windows button + X, select event viewer, there you find error log under Custom View, Administrative events. Feel free to DM a print screen or so of the list of errors. Without it, helping out can be pure guesswork

Good news friend, the behavior you described friend sounds like corrupt game files and nothing more serious /system related. Penguin approximately 95% sure. Reinstall/repair game files will most likely solve the problem friend. This in addition to no registered errors in windows

If it was CPU throttle or related issue, then Penguin can tell that there should at least be a kernel error in the log, since his error log is clean. Pretty certain to be a game-software issue
