According to Penguin it's sometimes difficult to hear enemies who's above / or behind you with headphones in BF6.

When in doubt of locations sometimes Penguin do a full stop, rotate view-angle a bit to double check sounds right/left, behind etc.

This is why you sometimes see players aiming at apparently nothing, they just browsing the sounds like a map 🗺️ 😃 (especially if they are used to FPS gaming)

I just played BFV again for the first time in a couple years. After playing so much BF6, BFV feels like dogwater. Man it's no wonder BF1 (which I had this same experience with like 2 weeks ago) and BFV never worked out for me. I put maybe 40-50 hours into both and it just never clicked. I think it comes down to the audio itself, the footsteps in that game for example has a lot of bass, it punches. And BF6 footsteps are higher pitched

(Fact: Lots of players finds the weapon levelling system to be grindy, and thus they won't choose to play a mode that won't build on weapon progress)
