i hope they surprise drop that map remaster they're working on later in the season. if they're testing it at this point it's probably fairly close to ready, and a third map in as many months after what's felt like a large map drought would be cool

Breakthrough is the way but I actually find players are easier to knife than bots lol players you can sneak up on but bots always know you're there. I had to do the 10 takedowns in a match trophy and bots made it a nightmare.

Currently it be only BF6 gameplay for Penguin, that is plenty enough to focus on 🔭 🦢 It's nice to see that you're still going back to some older titles sometimes too. For example the Featured Operation Metro mode made sure that Penguin installed BF4 again just to check the original for comparison

Fairly it’s not really an accurate comparison to use because the two games have different peak regions for one. And the two games are heavily skewed towards different systems. Cod is mostly console which numbers aren’t released along with gamepass players not being released. Battlefield is skewed towards pc players. Penguin approves Season 2 Pro Pass skin 😃 About KTS it has the slowest TTK time of all LMGS, but it can still be nicely used for the ranges RPM doesn't matter as much,

Penguin sometimes kill like 2-3 snipers with KTS at range to counter them. But for general purpose CQB and moving around KTS is not the way to go

battlefield thrives on big maps with varied degrees of distancing and cover intergrated throughout. The "big" maps in the game currently are just empty fields that are just obnoxious to play around if you don't snipe or sit in a vehicle all game, and the rest of them are just constant close quarters, dealing with shotguns and lmgs hiding in corners every single game. It's genuinely just not fun map design imo. I want to be able to do cool shit for sure, and the maps can be fun in that regard if the players in your lobby aren't CoD sweats who optimize the fun out of the game. Sadly though that just barely happens. People just aren't any fun to play with or against whatsoever any more

Penguin did read the more detailed patch notes: One important thing 👉 If understanding the weapon adjustment patch notes correctly, SG 553R, SCW-10, PW5, and SGX will get weaker at range.

And many Assault rifles will get better performance at range

Reminds me so much of bf4, which is one of my all time favorite games. But this map design just panders to the sweats who think having a high K/D means they're contributing more to the match than anyone else. it's not fun, it's optimized. there's a huge difference and people can't seem to tell anymore. There used to be so much random cool shit to do on the maps, and they used to be limited by the power of the consoles. That should not be a problem now. none of the maps have any interesting gimmicks, and there's definitely not enough destruction for how much that shit was advertised

I wish they'd add back the commander stuff to the game. I've noticed that people don't seem to know what they're doing at all. I feel like refining the orders system and having that be a bigger part of the general gameplay would give more direction to the team and have the matches be a bit less braindead
