anyone still dealing with crazy keyboard input lag? game worked fine in beta and for a while after. then there was an update that made it unplayable for me. i uninstalled for about 2-3 months, just reinstalled and the issue is still there. there is no input lag via mouse, just keyboard. game will hold on to whatever key i was holding for a few seconds after letting go.

I've discovered a glitch with mortar for medic/support on breakthrough

If you place it as attacker on deployable area but you won't move when the team captures all objectives, you get to keep it even if you can't deploy it anymore, but you'll stay in it and can fire it as long as you want, and the enemy will have hard time tracking you. Also you can exit the mortar after current objectives has been captures and go back in as long as you won't pick it up, of course.

It's not really game-breaking but it is annoying.

It could probably work on Rush too but Rush is too small so you'll die pretty much everytime I'd reckon

well first the overall visual identity of the game is trash, second the fact we dont have persistent servers. Third is the how lacking portal is, battlefield 2042 had it perfect. the perfect system for people to make some awesome experiences, if they would have imported that over then that would of been a huge success. Also the lacking content with maps that are just way to small. From the beta we all played the game felt so much different and promises were made of how the full game was gonna be different like the devs saying bigger maps which just wasnt the case

We were never promised persistent servers first off, secondly we can only blame portals quality on the community and ruining it with XP farms. Okay so you played the beta, you knew what the maps were like so it's no surprise what launch was going to be. Them recognizing we wanted bigger makes is a good start but you need to understand that content for a game is typically finished for Season 1, 2 and sometimes 3 before the game launches. We will not see the "bigger map" feedback till atleast Season 3 if we are lucky.

The only possible way we get server browsers and persistent servers back is by losing portal - EA and DICE will not do both so you need to pick which one you want to support.

1,793 kills is required for level 50 (which doesn't matter because 39 is where attachments stop). This is simply by kills and not including the XP gained from assists, destroying gadgets, etc.

On average you're looking at 1,000 to 1,200 kills for level 40.

I've actually got multiple weapons at level 50 with 800 to 900 kills.

I've got a performance related question.
The game can't keep a stable frame rate, it hovers around 60-75fps, often dipping into mid 50s even down to low 40s. I've turned down GPU and CPU intensive graphics options but nothing seems to fix this issue.

My PC specs are:

What can I do to address this? My specs are well within recommended specs as listed on the steam store page and yet I get low frame rates. My CPU and GPU utilization are within norm - oscillating around 100% usage
