It's not a problem that a good heli pilot does well and get a good score for doing well. I just think there should be more systems in place so those going 107-3 don't take place as much.

Mainly, it should be less possible to get the same vehicle multiple times in a row if other people want to use it as well. And my other suggestion was something I called "metal fatique". Basically vehicles start with more health, but can't repair fully (max HP goes down over time), so the more dmg they take, the less overall health they got. This would improve the fun for the bad pilots and make it a bit more challenging for the good ones to stay up there forever.

Casual breakthrough was originally there to be a training and practice mode up to level 10. Which never worked and disappeared from the playlist and then eventually they just made it permanent. It wasn’t designed for bad players. They changed it to be a permanent casual mode that bad players and level farmers abuse

i discovered sniper rifles are actually bad. DICE made it so that only sniper rifles have scope glint. so as soon as you scope in everyone can see you.

i thought it works so that if you put say anything higher than a 4x scope on your gun it will glint. thats not how it works.

so you can put an ultra high magnification scope on a DMR and enjoy no glint while happily 2 tap counter-sniping by looking for others glinting

I mostly agree but also it depends on the persons play style and game mode preferences. CQB with most kills being under 10m and accuracy being 70-100% would mean yall are going to be shooting each other at the exact same time or very near, so the TTK could add up over a lot of kills/deaths

Just with how much bf1 and bf4 have revived server wise I think shows where the vets want this franchise to go towards though, and unfortunately all the effort for redsec will eventually go the way of firestorm just given the game priorities. If both children are starving (MP and redsec) you have 3 choices, feed one and let the other go, feed neither and both die, or spend more effort to give them more. The likely choice is the first one at least shown by bfv and firestorm but even then they let the other child die too by ending in the Pacific

One huge thing I think holding the game back is the lack of community building available, can't que with more than my squad (easily) and portal being not the most user friendly in grouping plus the XP issues on some custom maps. I've been trying to build up different discord groups to have like private matches so we can have group team play like in bf4 with platoons and stuff but it's just a ton of effort that would largely be solved with server browser

I actually haven’t tried a full hipfire build. I don’t think I can turn off the years long habit of going ads and firing. But i think full hipfire or full ads build tightens the accuracy and spread enough that mostly negates any bloom missed shots

one bad thing about BF6, as nice as the gunplay feels, is once you're in a highly contested area with a lot of players in close proximity, bullets and grenades start disappearing. "no rego" as we call it, bullets not registering as hits, or only half of them.

what it's done in aussie servers is pushed sweats to the corners of the maps away from crowds, so we get less people playing objective, more people farming objective for headshots from a range where their bullets always hit. kinda sucks

you control how fast it plays, as does the game mode you pick. conquest is probably the slowest, but there's modes like escalation which are far tighter. or you can just be a team deathmatch chud and top those lobbies to unlock rifle attachments

Long time fan that's never played? Curious. Combined arms infantry - vehicle gameplay (land air and eventually sea) is done in a pretty accessible way in BF. That is what I'd say the main draw is. "Large" scale, sometimes chaotic sometimes strategic and tactical (was more in the past) is what BF is I'd say

I'm also slightly biased as I base my guns around competing at every range. If I can get by with no grip I will in the case of the qbz, but other times I just wanna get that extra precision in for landing those bullets at 30+ meters. But usually I'll either take the 20 pt angled for no negatives. But if it needs control like the tr7, m277, and m417 I'll have the 6h64 grip and offset the negatives with a barrel change. As the higher precision grips can cause some fliers/weapon sway.
