Yeah that was most likely a dxg11 crash, sometimes it'll close bf for you, sometimes it'll freeze your entire PC, when you rebooted did you have the option to fill out a error report to your GPU manufacturer?

Mine is set to a constant 80%, because of bf6, I've noticed the game like to crash when the GPU hits 60c

i was playing cod 4 not to long ago on pc, on a modded server where the player count goes above 12 and its filled with bots, yeah there is spawn camping alright

even on the newer versions like MWIII its chaos

nuketown on the other hand, yes its a small map, but i feel its one of the cod maps that actually aged worse over time as cod started to add more movement tech, look at what nuketown is like in bo6 and bo7, it feels smaller now

If we had rented community servers and server browsers, this wouldn't be an issue. When I helped run a BF4 server we had insane amounts of Asian players coming into our server using cheats and lagging the match - essentially had to go through the list and clear them out every couple hours.

If this were the reason then gauntlet would not be thriving. It is level 1 farm city and I love it Apex didn't have sbmm for a while in the beginning and it was way easier. Not because you got lucky with players but the gameplay and systems just make it so much easier. From pinging system to dialogue options, class abilities, movement e.c.t. Warzone and Redsec will never become straight up easier with sbmm. It's a daunting experience because of the lack of systems in place and over reliance on "you better shoot first or you're screwed". Gauntlet is more like multiplayer with the only similarity to redsec being plates and locations. Hence why its way more popular with newer players

But yeah, I think the splash damage radius on RPGs is also a little weak, I've shot someone dead on standing next to multiple people like sub 2m and they walk away with 80% damage done and I get 1 kill lmao

From what they said about Golmund, with how they're working it, they said they're going to try to make vehicular play better, and the infantry experience better at the same time, and improve air vehicle cover/ vehicle play in better.

It could mean that RPGs get nerfed to hell, but the damage they do rn, is more or less the same they've always done, just their velocity is about 5 times what is was in bf3, and about twice what it was in bf4, so I'd imagine they might drop the speed and increase drag coefficient at most, probably to give room for the other rockets as well, as no one really uses the Mlaw or the Sraw, which those 2 are fine they don't need changes

if they nerf RPG the engy has no other decent tools. javelin cannot lock from cover like other games, so that + painting targets means standing out in the open most of the time

guided missile is shite, only okay to 2 shot helis if you're lucky. so yup.

no idea why engy would keep getting nerfed when support is the class that is stacked AF and has been off rip

I'm an engineer main, you can EASILY still get kills with an RPG if they cut its velocity in half, because guess what, tens of thousands of people have before you!

Support should be split into 2 classes, support and medic
