Pdws have been used in war since they came up. Mp44s in WW2, Israel used the Uzi a ton in Lebanon in the 60s, mp5s in Cold war proxy wars. The reason they weren't used by non-western forces were due to cost, not due to not being viable.

IMO...the fact that the PDWs are mega accurate is fine, but I think they need to lower their damage at range. Like outside 20m, the damage should fall off much more.

They are so good right now, and being used over weapons meant for engagements between 20-40m, because they are so accurate, lack spread (In comparison to other ARs/Carbines) and as a result of those factors...the shots land much more in quantity.

the fix is to use the windows app HDR calibration app (Make sure your min and max for everything is set, basically make sure HDR is calibrated right on the OS first). Then when youre setting your HDR peak brightness value in that app, remember the number (For me is 480, as im using a HDR mode with Peak brightness of 500)

once thats done, go to your BF6 config file (PROFSAVE_profile) and press CTRL+F > Search for HDR, and set the peak luminance for your HDR to the same peak as you set in the calibration app

I dont know why they dont make the AA tank behave the same, or similarly to the AA stationary. Boggles my mind at times. The stationary AA had issues at launch, but is much smoother and easier to aim now. But the AA tank feels terrible.

Same for the 3D procedural aim points on all vehicles in 3rd person. Completely unusable. Id much prefer a simple aim reticle at center screen (Like we had in the likes of BF4), so I can just learn how my tank behaves when used in 3rd person. I really do not like these procedural, predicted impact point reticles...they jump around too much and put me off playing the vehicle as best I can.

My issue with the maps is the vast majority of them have you playing in the exact same way. Yes, youre on a different map, but doing the exact same things, at the exact same time to engagements as the others. It feels to sterile and too deliberately optimized for game flow.

This might sound weird but for defense on BT I don't use a supressor because the offense typically will know where I'm going to be. On Offense I will. I feel the brake has superior gun control which I value more than stealth (especially because I'm always moving anyway)

It’s long term, in a year from now, if teams of strangers stick together bc they’re just wiping the opposite team and they do it over and over, and it creates a pool of matches where one side is having fun bc they’re totally kicking ass, those same 24 people are staying online, meanwhile new joins are joining, getting their ass kicked, matching into a new lobby with the same dynamic, getting their ass kicked, then turning off the game and switching to another one and telling their friend “that game is just full of sweats now”

24 people stay online and a couple people turn off the game and play something else, even if it’s to a small degree, repeat that every day multiple times and it results in less lobbies and less players

I've been having absolutely nonsense issues with hit reg and netcode for weeks now and it's gotten me down to playing two rounds, getting fed up and just alt-f4'ing.

It happens like clockwork, i do well, and suddenly out of nowhere hits seem to register worse, things like grenades and claymores don't kill anymore, they just suppress.

Then i die a shit ton of times in a row because it seems to make me lose every trade.

Happens once, i try again, happens again, i alt f4. It sucks the fun out of playing.

I had a lot of fun playing some of those "Large Maps only" Portal servers at launch. Basically a rotation of Liberation, Firestorm and Mirak, with a round of Cairo at the end and then loops.

Since they killed the XP and changed how many players you need to start a mode with AI...those servers completely disappeared tho.

I'm not even joking, i'll start a game and pla for a bit. Go 24-2, and then shots suddenly just feel like they don't register anymore. I die behind cover from that point on, grenades barely do damage, claymores don't go off or only suppress, i shoot someone from behind and empty a whole mag and they don't die. They turn around instantly and just kill me. It's so annoying when that happens i just leave lol.

Cant even have this now tho, cos they turned off PVE bots. Cant even test your custom maps on portal cos its so restrictive.

Imagine how annoyed id be if I were an engineer who spent years making the Portal map creator...only for some producer to decide 15 days post launch that players runnign modes on maps made with it get no XP...effectively killing off the usability of your years of work 😄

This is above my pay grade but I believe this game uses a connectivity system where players within X distance are all connected to a player in that range with the “best” connectivity that acts as the host and so their packet loss or transmit latency affects each other.
And it swaps throughout the match dynamically.

This is reduce server load and save on system resources.

I don’t have evidence, but my buddy has spotty internet, and when he’s having issues, I have issues, when we play duos BR.

This same connectivity behavior is in Valheim, and you can test it by just having a player from across the world join your game.

Like when I match with a duos partner from 500 miles away, my hitreg and action latency are a lot worse than when I play with my buddy 50 miles away who has good internet

I don’t really care about XP that much though I loved bot matches largely because I could grab a friend play jets/helis/obscure adjacent playstyles without meta / PvP sweat now it’s PvP only so I just play less frequently

They need to add a solos mode for the BR TBH. One with tanks and maybe even helis disabled.

Current BR is too compromised for both sides of the fense. Its a mode targetting non BF players, who may never have played BF before. The vast majority of them dont want tanks at least in their BR. then you have BF players who do want vehicles/tanks...but wont play BR.
