REDSEC BR drives me nuts because even a perfect headshot in sweet spot won’t down someone with full hp. So then I want a nice gun to swap to and quickly follow up for the finish.

But the guns I’ve tried that fit that profile leave me helpless in close quarters scrambles against SMGs. So it’s like I can’t really win as a sniper for having a balanced loadout

Once seen some strange things with desync like people having a bad connection being first in a game because of compensation it seems, they were always before any other player in the game such giving them an davantage, I see also huge différences between games where suddently your assault rifle does not seems to rich target anymore

You can go into settings and set the keybind to range the same as your fire button and it will automatically range to your shot everytime. Sniping becomes point and click even at 1000M

The game triggers the range finder before the shot fires, thats the only reason it works

The trick works. I suck at sniping and used it for a while. Ended up taking the range finder off and there is very little difference because the maps are small enough and the bullet drop is non existent so you can still point and click up to a few hundred yards before you start needing to aim high. I would use the points elsewhere

Personally I used the points saved by not using the rangefinder and put it on a suppressor

Very hard to do rangefinder, suppressor, extended barrell, long range ammo and still be able to equip the trigger bolt for ads reload. Not enough points

Ya I customized all mine. Actually have my coefficient and left/right acceleration at zero with universal soldier aiming off. Infantry ads sensitivity 80 and the different zoom levels 75-85. Infantry aim I think I’m at 40

It slows the ads sensitivity way down so I’m not all over the place trying to track enemies while ads when you turn it off and customize to your liking

I tested if in range. Even with those numbers, the moment I turn universal aim back on the aim movement speed becomes way to twitchy hipfire and ads. Might just be my preference but on controller it’s better to lower a lot of it. Otherwise your aim is just over correcting back and forth and can’t hit shit

Forced me to tweak my settings in bo7 because I’ve become used to bf6 settings for two months. I got those settings fairly similar now so I can go back and forth without messing up muscle memory. Controls are identical between the two. But that was in campaign. Gonna find out tomorrow how they do in mp.

I would trade the range finder and your grip for the bolt (if you want to keep the suppressor). Bolt gives you an increased shooting speed (even if you unzoom) so for multiple targets it's far better. Suppressor is good when you go cqc as it hides you on the mini map. Flash hider will hide you on the minimap >50 so for a sniper if you don't want to be spotted it's the nice spot as it will cost 10 points less as your suppressor. Long range bullets are op though

Penguin of course suggest you try use the default resolution for screen to begin with. In most cases Penguin would reduce the settings rather than running lower resolution.

Penguin can give a few general tips such as: Reduce ingame music volume or switch it off entirely like Penguin did. (For better audio location of other players). Set motion blur to a minimum for better clarity. FOV settings can also be adjusted for your personal preference. Penguin landed on 110 for FOV.

Penguin preferred with High Dynamics when using headphones. Some players also choose War Tapes in audio settings.

Those are few suggestions friend 😃 Lots more to possibly add, but that can be nice start

TOWs are actually OP, but id say to nerf it they should fix it to the wires, for example if the wires touch anything the missile would go erratic. Another thing is adding a Minimum and maximum for the TOWs like if you are shooting the TOW and dont meet the minimum arming distance then you would basically be firing a giant slug to a vehicle and wouldn't do much damage.
The ways TOWs are used in this game is very unrealistic, you shouldn't be able to track a target through vegetation.

It is extremely hard to be good with an attack heli in this game. If you encounter anyone actually flying and playing good with one, they’re just great pilots. But they’re super simple to take care of. Line up an RPG shot or spam stingers, laser target them etc. they’ll go down quick

Most people use range finder ya. I think it’s a waste of points unless you are going for some achievement of distance. You can point and click center crosshair for several hundred meters without the rangefinder before bullet drop starts to show

Range finder bind to mouse1. It just auto ranges. All you do is place crosshair on the head.

The principle is the same.. distance doesn't change. Still have to lead your shot for moving targets, obviously.
