There are two new issues, first the game crashes to desktop, like your playing then next thing you are on desktop. The primary issue with the GRT and QBZ is they share the m4a1’s range fall off damage model which is awkward for weapons whose higher accuracy and lower recoil feel designed for longer ranged gun fights

I would love to see the QBZ and GRT get a range fall off buff of a few meters with the QBZ receiving the larger buff to each of their range intervals to give them more flavor.

I run the bf4 Chinese engineer for pax, mastery engineer for nato, 2042 exclusive nato support skin, squad death match challenge of 2 squad wipes in 1 game support skin for pax, the mastery skin for recon nato, for recon pax I run my beta skin which has a cool skull pattern, I run my mastery skins for both my assaults.

None of those feel outlandish to me and are quite cool.

The spread is near equal right now in both titles

Time to kill is faster to the body by about 1 bullet but headshot multipliers in bf4 were 2x. Headshot multipliers in bf6 are 1.34 to a max of 1.75 with a 35 cost attachment on select guns

I love the sensor mines they’re pretty consistent and usable in situations where I need to 1v1 a tank. They have a peak of 450 damage

-Manhattan Bridge and empire state's interior buildings need actual connections rather than random walls that feel unsatisfying. You should be able to enter one side and exit another more fluidly.
-A point on empire is far too removed from the other capture points on the map that I would adjust its placement for conquest.
-move the bridge of manhattan bridge to be on top of C point with 4 zip lines at the corners of C giving access to get to the bridge (zips not available in breakthrough)
-Mirak's D point should have its own set of ziplines and upper building section similar to the B point. Add 2 more zips to access the B rooftop and make D have 4 zips for the roof too. For fun purposes have 1 zipline connect the two rooftops.
-Liberation peak needs an added capture point imo within the mountain with the interior of the mountain being a sorta underpass or military base with like 8 entrances. The map would be widened and lengthened to accommodate this.
-Operation firestorm should move its sniper mountain to the center of the map and I do really mean center.
-blackwell fields needs more cover, more elevation differentiation for infantry, and some trenches. It could also be longer and wider too tbh with less buggies in the spawn and more buggies spawning at capture points so infantry can move from point to point consistently.
-Sobek should remove the D point sniper tower and put it in the center of the map as a new capture point. To compensate D would be fleshed out to be similar to the B point. To accomodate this the entire map would have to be widened and lengthened. Additionally those stairs that lead into nothing should lead to the top of rooftops and more ziplines to access roofs should be present. Lastly, some extra cover to compensate for the increase in verticality options.

-nerf snipers: Snipers need to be nerfed from a peak of 1100m/s to their bf4 projectile speed of 670m/s peak. Remove the range finder too. Maybe increase the bullet drag coefficient to bf4 values also. Eliminate sweet spots and rebalance snipers to function without them

Like it works but if your target is silhouetted against the sky, there's a chance it'll range the sky instead
You could aim slightly lower to range then pull up but that takes away a bit of time

It's not a good attachment in the hands of good snipers. But it buffers sniping for people who suck to the point it increases the amount of snipers leading to an increase in annoyance

I think it would work a lot better than shanghai cos it's not a central part of the map so it wouldn't ruin the map when it gets levelled but just improve it a little from the rattiest snipers

the sniper tower is just really bad design and gives one team multiple sniper angles on B and the other team one dedicated higher advantage sniper angle on D.

Just even out D and B to be more similar and move the sniper tower to the center of the map

The main appeal of 2142 was the titan game mode

titan essentially had multiple conquest capture points which were missle silos on the ground.

The titans were 2 giant helicarriers in the sky one per team. Each had AA guns, ground machine guns, drop pods to drop to the groun, and 2 air vehicles in a docking bay. The goal of both teams was to kill the other titan. You could weaken the shields with the missle silos and then invade the titan with an air assault. You then had to bascially do a game of rush inside the titan to kill the reactor core. Alternatively you could stay on the ground and keep shooting the missle silos and win off attrition

Fyi you could only spawn on the squad commander, capture points, the titan, or a spawn beacon

and one player per team could move the titan across the map (this player would be voted upon by squad commanders, if there's a tie it's randomly assigned)

moving the titan aggressively could allow your team to utilize all its resources to control the map but if the shields are down maybe moving it back defensively to avoid a team invading and placing spawn beacons inside to blow up the reactor would be the better decision

frankly I wouldn't mind a season of this game that is 2142 themed that reintroduces the titan game mode.

The best part about 2142 was its aesthetic. Nothing felt too futuristic. It was all pretty grounded with ballistic weapons and limited resources because the setting was the pan asian coalition and european union (with the U.S) fighting over the remaining habitable land

you wouldn't do stuff like mechs and such that might breach the aesthetic a bit much for this game

Bf2142 has a total of 220k sales and is the least selling entry in the whole franchise.
